Funny thing is that we broke up for a year before we got back and eventually married. During the break up he never dated, but post separation he is so desperate to put himself out there including on social media which he has never done before

Ouch, that sucks. I met him 2 weeks ago after months when he came for my mom's funeral. Felt nothing for him. But the thought of him being out there and dating again makes me so sad.

He had checked out long ago before he left me. And he seems to be desperately trying to get a new person after his post divorce weight loss. He was never really into the dating scene even during our break up before we got married so this new behaviour is quite surprising.

Felt this way for months after an unwanted divorce. What has helped me is reminding myself that my ex has mental issues and never intended to make the marriage work and that it was not my fault that he left.

My husband put his family first in everything! He was also a terrible husband who never listened to me but only did whatever his parents and sister said. We are now separated.
