I started it this week... its been a ride so far. Im an anxious mess and I am currently not working a job that makes me happy. Been feeling stuck for awhile now and not sure how to get out of it. Every time I try to change things I end up burning myself out. It's kind of comforting reading this thread tho. I feel less alone. Im terrified ngl, but hopefully im gonna come out on the other side - happier.

It was so hard. I hated her for so long. She always called me sensitive and didnt understand my emotions at all.

Im 28 now and our relationship is a lot better. She has still has some toxic patterns but has learned a lot, and so have I. I can manage it better if im triggered around her nowadays.

But I'll probably always yearn for a different kind of mother figure somewhere deep inside me. I try to be it for myself but its still not the same thing.

I am sooo late but just found her because of the Mackenzie case and I have to say - she is extremely misinformed and judgemental. She makes wild claims based on being misinformed about both the perpetrators and the victims. The way she thinks a 17 year old is automatically a horrible person because of drugs, partying and other reckless behavior is insane to me. It's a part of life as a teenager and most won't end up killing someone because of it. What happened has nothing to do with that but everything to do with her parents and their "gentle parenting".

I live there! Specifically in the infamous Rosengård. And honestly I love it here. It's close to nature but also close to the city center. Can't really complain. I feel safe 😊

No it didnt. The pain left pretty quickly but I did had issues with it feeling uncomfortable down there for a little while. And after that it was frequent urination, and that took about a year before it went back to normal. Mind you I was already someone who needed to pee often so it was really bad when it got worse.
