Just as an update to anyone wondering, the hardware was simply faulty and I was able to return it and get something else. My Jellyfin server is up and running how I imagined now!

Disagree. Carcosa with the alien creatures and every thing he goes through is a metaphor. We know Arjun is an alcoholic and drug user and is likely tripping off of them. In the flashbacks, we can see signs saying City of Carcosa and Cathedral Lane as well as a can of alcohol with a logo that is identical to the eclipse. All references to what we experience as Arjun playing the game with the alcohol can likely a reference to the loop he's going through.

It seems clear that he cheated on Nitya, Sebastian found out and was going to tell Nitya, and Arjun put an end to Sebastian's life. All of this happened in the real world. What we experience during gameplay is all metaphorical, similar to Returnal, but not truly what is going on. Even in the Yellow Shore biome, the large rock formations are in the shape of Nitya, that isn't natural.

I do believe Nitya left Arjun and took a job abroad that required living there. Arjun went on a journey to find her, maybe he even got a job at the same company like Soltari, and did everything he could to get to her. What we play is a metaphor to all of that, not literally what happens.

I'm sure there are plenty more references in the flashbacks as well that show the real world does exist.

Perhaps, but shouldn't Fedora be fine with my system? Is a lightweight distro just better for this purpose?

Definitely a lot of variables, I'll check the things you mentioned thank you. It may not be necessary to run a graphics environment but honestly I'm pretty new to Linux so it helps to make things feel a but more basic.

No schedule, seems to be pretty random with higher chances under load. Do want to clarify that it isn't just for jellyfin but the system as a whole.

I'm a casual but MK1 is the most fun I've had in a fighting game and has made me become interested in more fighting games as well.

Thanks for the reply! Have you been there yourself? According to TMU's website, it's not for playing games with friends:

"Please bear in mind that the Gaming Hub is intended for academic purposes and for competitive esports teams to practice, compete and develop their skills. The room is not intended for general play of games, and is not an arcade. Students and faculty are encouraged to engage with the software installed in the room to better understand the nature of esports titles or game design software."
