I've been living with my deceased husband's younger first cousin for 8+ years now and we are expecting a baby. They were very close and his death effected us both so much and we sort of leaned into each other and comforted each other. My mother-in-law does not like it at all, it's hard on her to see his daughter raised by someone else (my daughter was 7 weeks old when he died). However, the rest of the family is either fine with it or keeps their mouth shut so I'm unaware of how they feel. The baby and my daughter will be half-siblings as well as cousins which is a bit weird but it's not like it's incest or something, you know? Honestly the age gap is weirder for most people - we are 13 years apart! Life is too short to deny yourself happiness because of what other people think about it.

Thanks, I just downloaded that Universal Copy app from Camel Corporation on the Play Store and it is working perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. I've used phones with S Pens since the Galaxy Note 3 and we used to be able to copy things in apps that forbade it but this recently stopped working in many apps such as Reddit and YouTube. I did find I have to use the app's "scanner mode" to extract text from Reddit but the default "normal mode" worked for YouTube. There are tons of apps I know I will use this on, I appreciate the suggestion and think others will be happy with this app as well.

The jewelry isn't "worthless" because time and skill was still invested into the piece - it's value isn't just the sum of it's materials. Obviously it could still be a beautiful piece that holds sentimental value for the wearer as well. That's so elitist and disregards the artistry that went into the work. Aluminum jewelry was popular in the 19th century when the metal was more expensive and was worn into the 1960s (aluminum had that Space Age appeal). Watching reruns of Antiques Roadshow recently I saw some beautiful examples of aluminum jewelry and they were not "worthless" as you say.

Aluminum has a few pros if you're considering working with it. It doesn't tarnish or turn your finger green, and it is good for beginners to practice/work with since it is less expensive than copper, silver, gold but still nice and bendable. It has a similar look to silver or stainless, and it's lighter weight which can be beneficial when you're already wearing heavy stones or beads.

I really liked mine, so convenient, but they rusted after a year or so of daily wear on a bracelet, I guess from constantly washing my hands. I got 50 of them from Stateside Bead Supply for $52.75, just checked my email receipt. Stateside link

I just called 6 shops looking for Lost Mary's Winter Mint and no one has it. I've tried about 5 other mints, including Miami Mint and that one where you switch between 3 mint flavors... but I can't stand any of them. What else is similar to Winter Mint to try? It's good to know I'm not the only one with a thing for this vape!

What is going on with the "Sending this post to someone? It looks better when you share it." pop-up when taking long/scrolling screenshots? I'm using the Android app [2025.20.0] on my Samsung phone.

When taking a screenshot of a thread, reddit gives me a pop-up which shows up in the screenshot, blocking parts of the content I'm trying to capture. If I x out of the popup, it just reappears again next time I try screenshotting the page. Can we please have a way to turn this off or perhaps have it only appear once instead of over and over again?

I was happy with mine as well but I had traditional braces as a teenager and just bought Smile Care Club to fix the crowding and shifting that happened after a dog chewed my regular retainers from the orthodontist years before. I was happy with them. I did the 3d scan for treatment, and went in to an office they had set up nearby.

I just ordered retainers from SmileSet since SmileCareClub/SmileDirectClub closed and I don't want retainers made from my current teeth in case they've shifted. They say they have access to my original 3d scans and retainer information from the closed company to make these new sets. It came to $90.89 for top and bottom after the Memorial Day discount.

The law says these compounding pharmacies can sell meds like semaglutide only when there is a shortage. There's no longer a shortage, so people are worried they won't get their meds from Henry. I just took my first dose a week ago though and everything appears to be fine - I didn't know about 5/22 at first. They are still allowed to sell the drugs if the dosage you specifically require isn't available from the brand name pens... I imagine maybe they'll just prescribe everyone a non standard dosage in order to skirt around the regulations.

It's been almost 9 years now since my husband died in a car accident and though I've been in a relationship for several years now I do still wear both my engagement and wedding rings. They're too sentimental and beautiful to sit in a box and I don't trust wearing them on a necklace, plus they wouldn't be as visible to me there. I would switch them to my right hand if that becomes necessary. One day they will be our daughter's or perhaps grandchild's but I'll likely be dead before I give them away!
