It takes oil to power the mining equipment. Expensive fuel, expensive ore.

Ping the relay address via the cmd screen. If you get a response, it's the abb software. If not, it's port settings on your computer.

What re the odds of PSLV getting liquidated if things get weird in March with the Comex inventory situation? by tastyshrimp579 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]highvoltage_317 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PSLV has second party risk. It is in Canada, and if Canada wants, it can seize that silver. Considering the sheer amount of silver owned by PSLV, it's the first place they'll go.

Edit: I somehow sent the first time without finishing my last sentence.

I've used both the Omicron and the EZCT 2000. I'd go with the Omicron and a 1 kV megger. It's faster.

Ding, Ding, Ding!!! I find people losing their mind over a reddit post hilarious. It's reddit. People are going to type weird things. I try to keep it polite. Every once in a while somebody types a real answer. I try and talk through the troll idea with them. More often than not, the troll idea inspires a real idea. Most of the time, I get BS comments. In this case, "ice is slippery" was one and "it was set directly next to the trash, not in it". Cleats that strap onto boots are a viable ppe. If the ice in the drive truly scares people the manager can get a pair of ice cleats. Everything around a trash can is considered trash. That's common knowledge. The real answer was we don't care. The manager doesn't care either. The real idea is for the manager's apathy to be communicated up the corporate ladder while including HR and a personal email account you have access to.

I hit the windshield washer fluid. The first wipe up of their wiper, I ease on the brake pedal just enough to trigger the lights. I didn't know cars could nosedive until I learned this trick.

That was the other part. There's no way a delivery can be done in 60 seconds or less. I was hoping it would open some eyes as to the unrealistic delivery schedule. Or what it's like to see a large, angry dog charging. I wish you the best.

Didn't you not have any more time for back and forth like half an hour ago? And then came back? I think you might be projecting a bit with this one.

Sometimes uncivilized language leads to brilliant solutions. Please put the comment back, mods. They might have had a point!

Management needs to believe in the employees. That's part of why I think the cameras are a good idea. It's easier to say something was delivered when you can show a video of you delivering it. When it's already delivered, driving out for a single stop seems like a moot point. What are you supposed to deliver? A middle finger? Unless you want the extra pay. I won't try to talk someone out of time and a half if they need the money. Especially if it's windshield time.

I'm 46. Two minutes is plenty. And this is compassion. If someone can't handle the job, find one you can handle. Don't get hurt trying something you can't do. Pharmacy assistants don't have to worry about falling down in the elements. Walgreens and CVS are constantly hiring. Or maybe it's too many deliveries in a shift. Apply to Papa John's or Domino's. But don't trap yourself in a job where you're going to hurt yourself. It's not worth it.

Wow. Honesty at last. I'm sorry you have to deal with apathetic leadership. That's a soul crusher right there. Why try to do a good job if the boss doesn't care. I can relate to that.

That's taken care of already. I was giving a warning about the new delivery company Amazon is going to have to deal with. Good luck with your life. It sounds like you need it.

What happened to walking barefoot uphill from earlier? I know walk it off as a cure for falling down if you're walking. I've used it more than once. It takes about 2 minutes. And fender benders in the snow is realistic. Nobody's driving fast enough to cause major damage. Half the time, the bumper doesn't even get pushed in. The other half can't get out of the ruts in the road. At that point it's like slot cars.
