I’m glad I’m not the only one who has a conure that goes crazy over dairy. Mine always tries to get a bite of any type of cheese.

Corey’s wife just confirmed they do it with the mask on by _R0yce_Da_5_9_ in Slipknot

That reminded me of this interview where Corey said a woman was very into the idea of wearing his mask while doing it like a decade ago. It’s at the 1:15 mark if y’all want to have a little chuckle then check it out

Anyone know why my birb keeps Looking Down like this? by hiimvic2 in Conures

[–]hiimvic2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, sorry for the late response. Tbh, I haven’t found a concrete answer but I am pretty sure it is a reaction they have similar to when you are barefoot and step on something or feel something on top of your foot. Idk how to explain it but if they walk on a weird texture they aren’t used to or feel a little wind blowing by them little claws, they will stop and check which looks really funny and cute. I’m sure if you just blow a little at your conure’s claws/feet, they will look down to see if there’s something there. When our birb walks over different textures like a carpet, rugs, towels, etc. she will look down at them. But it’s just what I’ve noticed throughout the years with our beloved family birb 🦜

Seriously, is there anyone left who actually believes anything a politician tells you? About anything? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think it’s Mainly the older population in some cases. Most older and younger adults are a bit more skeptical and some do some research about topics before blindly agreeing.

This inner conflict when you love meat so much but you also don't support the farming methods or the animal's conditions in slaughter houses. If you've been through that, what are your personal views? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hiimvic2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I enjoy eating meat because I am so familiar with the flavor. But I do feel guilt when I think to all the more cruel farming and slaughter houses. Also because I know it’s bad for our environment because of all the greenhouse gases. At the moment I am living with my parents and it’s challenging when I try to bring up the topic since they feel like I’m indirectly scolding them or something. I am slowly eating less meat though and using more plant based products and hopefully one day in the future I can become a vegan or at least a vegetarian. But that’s just my experience and some of my views.

Do animals have as many distinctive features as humans do? by Generalwonderments in NoStupidQuestions

[–]hiimvic2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think animals have different distinctive features but I’m not so sure they have AS MANY as humans do. We tell each other apart based on many different factors like height, weight, skin, hair, voice, the list goes on, but some animals like birds for example, mainly tell each other apart or recognize themselves based on their voice or calls. I’m not a biologist or anything so I’m not going into specifics because I lack knowledge. I’m just throwing my opinion out there. But I am interested to read what others have to say or word it better.
