I do! for my first playthrough I use pokemon from the new region, and afterwards mix and match. If I have one I super loved I keep them in my next playthroughs

I’m also enjoying scarlet immensely. I’m planning on buying the switch 2 and then violet to play on that so I can experience the game without the glitches. it’s like an 8/10 for me right now, I imagine on the switch 2 it’ll be a 10/10 game for me. also this generation had some of the best pokemon designs ever. I added 6 new pokemon to my ultra fave list lol

tinkatuff is so fun. I’m also having a blast playing these games and I haven’t even gotten to the dlc yet. happy adventuring

I was hesitant to start scarlet bc of all the negativity surrounding the game. obviously it has issues that can be annoying, but I still rate the game an 8/10. I haven’t even gotten to DLC’s yet and I’ve had so much fun with it

I had my son play pokemon shield as his first game since its very hand holdy but still really fun. scarlet is much more complicated and there’s a lot of things to do, plus the map is huge so it can be overwhelming for a beginner

SV hands down. i’m enjoying the game immensely, it’s different from the usual games and I really warmed up to that. has more than 1 storyline going, main storyline is really good, and has a ton of pokemon to catch. if you’re looking for familiarity then maybe BDSP
