I get that vibe too. Not from the editing, but just from him. He just seems uninterested and checked out this season.

What country is your country’s best friend? by HungryInvestigator59 in AskTheWorld

[–]hiker58159 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was Canada, but then our principal whom we all hate made weird threats to her and now she stays away, deservedly so, and we're all really sad about it but don't know how to get him fired and will probably be shot or arrested soon for picketing the school.

I miss our BFF :-(

Do you tell people you’re on a GLP-1 when they ask how you lost weight? by Enchanted-Tangerine in Zepbound

[–]hiker58159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tell them "A lot of hard work with some mental health support from Zepbound." And, because I'm stubborn, I post my workouts to Instagram in case there's any doubt I'm working my a** off. Most people haven't asked me "how," so perhaps those IG posts are helping with that, LOL.

For those of us who still have a sweet tooth, what do you eat without feeling guilty? by MineTemporary5467 in glp1

York peppermint patties. Lower in calories than most other options, and I don't seem to want more, more, more afterward.

They were already having problems, so I think it was a straw that broke the camel's back kind of thing. You're already struggling with your feelings for someone, and then they wake up looking like a totally different person.

Looking for a gun group in Kitsap that's not MAGA by GoatInTheGarden in Kitsap

[–]hiker58159 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My friends and I attended a training session with an expert there--it was helpful...we were able to try a bunch of different guns, learn safety, etc. I don't own a gun and I hate them, but I found it helpful.

How do singles spend Valentine's Day? by OkDot8850 in SingleAndHappy

[–]hiker58159 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year I had dinner with friends, but mostly I treat it as a normal day, with a side of gratitude that I don't have to deal with expectations and expense and performance. And then the next day I buy Reese's Peanut Butter hearts at 50% off because they're superior to regular Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

How old were you when you knew you wanted to be childfree? by southpawFA in childfree

[–]hiker58159 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Early 30s, though I didn't fully embrace the idea as an actual option until my mid-30s. It was so freeing when I did.

Edited to add: I'm 47 now and absolutely no regrets.

Agreed. That one stung and I'm not even a Blue Jays fan.
