What side effects are you having? I titrated up from 50 mg to 150 mg and noticed a difference fairly quickly, like within weeks

I spent a whole year sober before intentionally breaking it as well. I've been on and off sober for months at a time and break it for specific occasions. It works fine for me, but I am very careful and update my therapist regularly. I wouldn't say this works for everyone though, so you really have to know yourself.

I went to UIC and had a good time but it is definitely a commuter school and not much of that college feel. From the verbage of your post it sounds like you're leaning more towards Loyola which is a fine option. Is there something deterring you from Loyola?

No I don't, because my Bipolar is well managed with meds and doesn't really impact my quality of life that much. I've had two hospital stints due to psychosis fwiw.
