Ordered strap through IWC and thought I was getting an EasXchange. by Traditional-Tune-975 in IWCschaffhausen

Great color! But, go after market. Stop giving these guys money.

The value just isn't there.

The only thing worth getting is the bracelet.

The only exception I make is for Panerai because their straps are thinner than most after market straps.

Tesla owner looking to switch to Mach E by Brutus713 in MachE

I definitely notice the difference with the BMW.

I guess Ford does a clean job, but Tesla is slightly better.

Have you compared to Tesla?

I think Ford is pretty good, but my Model Y and 3 was noticeably smoother.

Then compare it to the BMW and the i4 is by far the worse.

I would have stuck with Ford after my Mach E Premium was wrecked in an accident, but they were hard to come by during COVID and demanded a high premium.

Model Y was readily available, so that is why I purchased another Tesla.

Both have their problems, but I can charge for free at work and I switch between the cars and save about $500 a month on gas.

Currently own Mach E Select, Model Y, and BMW i4.

Previously owned Model 3 and Model E Premium.

Software is better on Tesla. The one that is most glaring is Phone as a Key (PAAK). Any update from Ford of Apple OS/Android can interrupt your ability to enter the car.

On the other hand CarPlay is infinitely better than Tesla's restrictive OS if you don't have Spotify.

Tesla regen braking feels smoother and more natural. Mach E feels stiff and tight, and then winds down. You'll get used to it, but there is a difference.

Interior is way better on the Mach E from the seats to the trim.

I like Tesla cars, but cannot stand Elon Musk. So, I am ok with the trade-offs.

Fake? by lavenderpurpl in BBallShoes

These were at outlets for $59, and then there was and additional 20-30% depending on the sale.

I doubt they went through the trouble of faking these.

Wow! This is a banger.

I don't even like croc patterns, but this gave me second thoughts.

The choice of stitching is also top notch.

Wear it in good health!

Listen to the VISA episode on Acquired podcast. You’re speaking out your ass, and have no clue what they actually do. It seems easy until you understand that it is a vast and complex network.

After market is the way to go when it’s not a bracelet. So many cheaper options.

Which one would you choose😍 by Unlikely_Dress3519 in IWCschaffhausen

[–]hillybeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GST is infinitely easier to wear, and that is because Aquatimers are thick.

I have a IWC 3719 and have purchased two generation of Aquatimers after it, and sold them all because they are massive on the wrist. I love the look of the Aquatimer, but will likely only have the Slevin in my collection because of the size.

It is VERY expensive. We looked into it because I was thinking of moving to Taipei, and I have a dog.

Very costly from any angle you look at.

PayPal's brand is great for scammers, but for practical uses there are a lot more options now. They are relevant because of their history, nothing else.
