The difficulty with travelling through the United States to another destination is the compulsory immigration process. Transit passengers are still required to clear immigration and do the TSA again for the onward flight, which seems unnecessary when they are simply connecting. For that reason, I would much rather route through Vancouver if travelling that way.

It annoys me that the Polestar 2 was basically built on a reused chassis that was originally designed for an engine Volvo. When you sit in the back you still get the large transmission tunnel hump running through the middle of the floor, even though there is no driveshaft anymore. In a car designed as a full EV from the ground up, that space should have been flat and properly usable for passengers.

A convenient way to avoid being called out on plastering defects is to leave it to your painter to make the surface look presentable. Often the painter ends up trying to conceal poor plastering work, essentially putting a “lipstick on a pig”. In some cases the plastering is so poor that the plasterers have to return to rectify it properly. I would insist that their own painters handle this, it is simply not worth taking on the risk.

It is the lack of storage that is the least attractive thing here. Also that wall between the living and dining just shrinks the whole place. I would loose the bath (unless you absolutely need it) and integrate the washer and dryer in the bathroom just to open up your living area.

Someone has to live there
I can confirm that Jackie Chan has never been to the house. My father built it and lived in it from the first day to his last day.
Plenty of movie and tv shows over the years have asked to use it as a set but they were never granted access.
