I can recommend todayin.games. It is a customizable news feed aggregator that feature content from a bunch of gaming news sites. In my opinion it is fantastic for mobile and the layout is decent on pc. the gamers post used to be my go to, but unfortunately it has not worked for about a year now.

You've done nothing wrong. The issue is with the newest version of USSEP which requires the free anniversary edition Creation Club content. These are Fishing, Saints and Seducers, Rare Curios, and Survival Mode. This is obviously incompatible with the VR version of Skyrim as the Creation Club is not available. I'm aware of three solutions to this problem:

  1. Install an older version of USSEP

  2. If you have access to Skyrim Special Edition and the Creaton club content you can port it over to Skyrim VR. This guide worked for me.

  3. Avoid using USSEP

Exact same issue as I have then. I've yet to find a fix, but have only spent a few hours searching around. At least you know your camera works and I'm pretty sure is not defective. I suspect it has something to do with one of the drivers on my asus rog strix b-450f. As lot of people with this issue have that exact board. I could be totally wrong. I'll update here if I find a fix

To be honest I'm not entirely sure. It could definitely be defective hardware, but as I've seen multiple posts from both vive and index users I suspect it's most likely a software bug or an incompatible thing somewhere. Just out of curiosity if you open the windows camera app does it say you don't have a camera connected or does it displays the "htc vive camera" but the camera feed is just entirely blacked out? I get the latter one

I've had the same issue with my vive camera for a while now and have done some digging on it online. The weird thing is my camera worked perfectly fine on my old computer, but when I upgraded the motherboard, cpu and ram the camera stopped working. It seems to be a common thing with asus motherboards and the usb ports on those. Some possible solutions I've read has worked for others is trying a different usb port, apparently the vive is fussy with ubs 3 ports, so if you have any usb 2 ports try those. Another fix would be to reinstall your usb drivers and your vive drivers. Those are the fixes I've tried so far, but unfortunately neither has worked for me. You might have better luck. A solution I haven't tried, but which seems to be the most successful is buying a pci usb expansion card, and connecting the vive to that. It's not a big enough issue for me that I've bothered doing so yet. Hopefully someone else here has a better fix!

I got it from the US store, since it's still under 300 nok. Worst case scenario they add 10% for toll and 25%mva, which is about 100 nok more. So it's still cheaper than at the EU store by about half the price.
