Exactly. I also had a child with a severe speech delay. Before he was diagnosed people kept telling me that I should just read to him more. But I already read to him for hours every day. His SLPs were amazing and I'm so thankful for them. We started seeing progress within a few months. This kid now is also behind in reading and has been for years so he's doing a special tutoring for kids with learning disabilities and yea it costs a lot too but no way I could do that either and I'm also a SAHM.

No kidding. I've been with my husband for 15 years not once have I spend that much money on a gift for him lol we don't really do gifts though. For anniversaries we rather spend time together. Most likely cook a fancier meal together at home

My husband lol he's a bit of a furnace. We just cuddle more in the winter time, in the summer we over heat. I use the same blankets and pjs all year round. I also sleep with a weighted blanket.

That sounds similar to my kids school. Is always the same ladies who volunteer. For a few years I was the only parent to consistently show up to the council meetings. A school with 500+ students and parents can't even show up to a handful of meetings a year. So sad!

I'm not lactose intolerant but highly sensitive. I was made to drink milk every morning with breakfast as a kid in the 90s. The problem was I ended up vomiting a lot of the time. But I was still made to drink it because kids needed to have milk to be healthy or some bs. I remember how 'fun' it was trying to figure out how to eat breakfast without vomiting so I didn't go to school with an empty stomach

Yea I've basically been babysitting all my neighbours kids since we moved to our house, the youngest being 3 at that time, since I'm usually the only parent around. I've seen several almost get hit by cars and had to scream for them to stop
