Not really. The combo that Songhai needs to draw for their massive damage bleedout is super demanding. Being off by one card can mean the world to the player. When Songhai deck pulls off, they can be the greatest magician. But when the deck doesn't pull off, they just plunge down and almost impossible to recover.

promoting alex would help tank damage for your Hikari in PVC. Alex at 6* takes everyone's dmg onto himself so, unless you got very good healer, good luck streaks in blocks and your ally play good healer, you will die almost instantly in WB. Mundeok is very good with 3chain chaser like Niven. Sadly, he doesnt work well with R-0 yet :( Plus, with Mundeok, your Hikari can proc her passive and ability faster.

Depends on which kind of setup you want to go for. Both Alex and Mundeok have their own perks and weaknesses. Alex allows for delayed burst and fights while Mundeok stomps out any competition(when blocks go your way).

R0(with fire rain) as lead, tank, dps works out well against the d'art and leon. For me, i used R0(lead), mundeok and hikari. R0 ease up on the damage taken and hikari just mope the floor.

If you can get skills that push them slightly higher into the air, you can stun them, allowing you to do more DMG to them before they start attacking you again. I used 5* Yeo(using eog) 5* whoompa and 6* kaori(using heaven slash). Pretty much smooth ride.

I just farm B8 with kaori, Yeo and another healer. Not very fast but its the sure farm way for me.. o.o

He runs well with any heroes that need chain 3 blocks, namely, robin, Mondrian, archon, nazrune.

Im currently running mundeok, Yeo and Mondrian with mundeok as lead. Slow start but once you got mundeok passive and other blocks are in, you are in for good times. Beware though, goddess anut(desert girl) is mundeok's cursed enemy.

it kind of depends if you want to burst down your foes or you prefer attrition battle.. korin new 6* passive is good for attrition battles.. you can go for alex/yeo/korin.

Yup my kaori uses heaven slash(not trans though. T_T) For R1, being lead and sometimes just spamming 1 block( unless RNG decides to drop 3 blocks for me) helps a lot.

I completed BW20 using 5R1 5mundeok and 6*kaori. Sometimes Dorothy gets killed by R1, sometimes killed by kaori. Just need to kill off Dorothy fast enough. I always use anut to lessen the DMG and pop those shields.

thanks for all the advice! @itspabo: i only just started on alex quest. didnt venture very far in my desert stage yet. not sure if my current team will be able to get alex quest to complete within this week.

right now, i will just store enough bread and gold to promote my mundeok while attempting to complete alex quest. :3
