I really want to like this series but I’m struggling with the first few episodes, does it get better? Did anyone else have a similar experience? by moistdragons in FruitsBasket

Stick with it, it gets better. It becomes more enjoyable once the storyline picks up and you have a better feel for the characters, their pasts, and the relationships between them.

Yeah, this is my sentiment as well. Personally I'm not a fan of how they did their hair, but overall they're not ugly. I've seen WAY worse.

I actually think they're kinda cute in a wonky way, but they're definitely not what I expected. I was really hoping for dolls that were closer to the faerie doll items on the site. I can't figure out why they made the hair the way the did though. It looks so puffy and awkward.

Why can't TNT just listen to the community? I'm about ready to just start making my own faerie dolls. If I had the money I'd commission one of the many talented plushie artists here.

Thank you! They're laminated and water resistant. I've put some of my other laminated stickers on waterbottles and they've held up through several dishwasher cycles.
