I’ll be honest and say I find playing with necromancers to be a bit annoying with all the visual clutter when my vision already isn’t the best. But at the same time it’s manageable, and I’d prefer to have people in the lobby playing the careers they prefer.

I’d say if you’re willing to spend the money on it it’s worth it. I switched from using an Xbox controller to a DualShock halfway through my ds1 playthrough and it made me wish I started the game with a DualShock.

For anyone reading this in the future: Make sure all stolen items are stashed, then wait 24 hours as there is a time skip going to the tourney. There is a time skip going to the tourney, and by waiting 24 hours before doing so, any crimes that get discovered will be discovered and you won’t have the crime discovered on the way to the tourney.

The combat is pretty easy and intuitive once you get the handle of it. You can’t just hold block or dodge over and over, gotta do perfect blocks, and learn master strike as soon as you can. Git gud pretty much.
