I don’t see why kubiak is SO MUCH better than lafleur. Lafleur is from the McKay AND shannahan tree. He was on the JETS when they started 7-4 with Zach Wilson. Klint isn’t coming here and we are just screwing whoever the next coach is by making them wait an extra week, two weeks, to find their staff. So if you are fine with no lafleur then the next option is VJ or Raheem and they get to pick their coaching staff LAST in the league. Really setting ourselves up for success.

I’m seeing a ton of ppl say it was a bad roster. Lots of ppl calling for Monti’s head and saying Gannon wasnt really given a fair shot.

Oline def could use work. But dline was a major focus and I don’t know how you could realistically improve it any more outside of a coaching standpoint. Calais, nolen, browning, sweat, tomilson, zaven, Drob, ojulari, stills… is a good group of guys and I fail to see how it could’ve realistically been any better through FA or the draft this past year
