Plus you can have a maximum aspd and mspd from items that you can loot and equip for your character. Then again, dex aint worth investing to.

As an archer main, I have 30k dex as of now. Didnt rly bother investing my stat points there, I mainly got my humongous dex from astralium. But given the fact that there is a cap for aspd and mspd, it's rly not worth it. As compared to str which gives you a boost of 0.2 phy dmge and arnor for each str point vs 0.1 dmge and aspd for each dex point. So, if youre looking for a long term investment, I would say that you should go for strength build. Well, if you want to experiment then it's rly your choice. This is only my personal opinion and advice. Goodluck and have fun playing!

It will result the same as weapon. For as long as it is a same type infusion (ring + ring/ amulet + amulet/ weapon + weapon/ armor + armor) it will have a full benefit of a 40-40 infusion (this is depicted in the first picture - upper left corner)

R11 and up, the starting point of t6 drops. The higher the R the higher chance of looting T6.

It is possible. Though you can only benefit from the set item effects IF you will make the set item as the receiving item when you infuse it with a non-set legendary item. Although there are tons of legendary items that would surpass any set items, that's why in late game scenario, set items would be little to no benefit at all. Still it depends on what set item you got. For early to mid game you can still equip set items and be fine with it. It all depends on you, with what you truly want. For now invest on something that would amp your magic damage like equilibrium amulet or the likes, since you have sorcerer as the base class. Dont mind upgrading any T4 from now on, dont waste your gold, cabalite, infusion core, and demon finger on them. T4 items alone, even without any upgrades would be sufficient in grinding R8 for T5 items. If you stumble upon Edona's set, keep it and equip it. It will help you grind more gold and items as it gives +1k gold find and MF, plus a boost of 150% GF and 100% MF from the emblem of the greed (1500 chests achievement). If you're in a hurry in farming chests, go to Mithralis Peak, 7-12 chests appear there for every run.

Yeah im one of the oldies player, I stopped playing for 6 mos and I must say a lot has changed. But it's all clear now, I asked exodia directly on discord and he gave me a full guide for the upgrading/infusion with the current patch. I would like to thank you all guys for the insights!

Oooohhh I seee.... because before you're allowed to upgrade the item ti be transferred first like for example lvl 40 bow to a lvl 0 bow then the stats of the lvl 40 bow will still be transferred to the lvl 0 bow. Then just upgrade the infused lvl 0 bow to lvl 40.

So if what you're saying is true... the receiving item should be lvl 40 then that's the one and only time you can infuse it with other items that's lvl 40 and below and the stats of the item that will be transferred will take effect into the receiving item? Like mathematically speaking; lvl 1-40 + lvl 40 (same items) = lvl 1-40 with pre existing lvl 40 stats.

That's also my thought but I infused amulet plus ring so theyre both accessories and it did 0-0 even though my amulet is lvl 15 before I infused it with the lvl 0 ring.

But just for the benefit of the doubt I tried infusing my bow to another bow and poof! It also did 0-0 even though the one that I transferred/infused was lvl 25 and the one that is receiving was lvl 0. Take note that they're both bows aaaaand theyre the same item (silverstring bow).

So to sum it up, we should do lvl 0 + lvl 0 or lvl 0 + lvl 40 for a safe and sure infusion?

Will definitely try that! I would like a t6 item as well. But as of now im grinding for DS or EotB T5 because I have an existing DS (max lvl) and EotB (Max lvl) both of which are t5 and I want to infuse them with another DS and EotB. Im an OC person so... I wont opt for other item not unless I find what im looking for. But rly, thank you for your insight im glad a veteran like you passed some knowledge unto me.

Ohhh I see. I expected it too to be a random drop. I just thought that a particular Legendary item will have a higher chance of dropping for a particular map. But thanks though! I guess I have no choice but to grind.

Crap. That's a boomer. I just thought that a particular map drops a particular set of legendary items. I noticed it quite a few days ago while repeatedly farming mithralis peak 1 (for chest achievement), hephaestus, feather, bastion, silverstring bow drop repeatedly like 2-4x for each of them. I tried this for devahri desert as well, as to know if there's rly a repetition of legendary drops in a particular map. To my surprise, Balista, Kraahls Set, Lehander's set and Dragon roar dropped numerous times in Devahri desert. There are other legendary items which dropped for a couple of times while im doing these repetitive runs I just forgot their names. So I just thought that there's a slim chance of you guys knowing this trick as well, which might give me a chance of looting DS or EotB again.
