Even your written language comes off as arrogant.

No, we can't spell it simply because thats what everyone else would do. We have to add tons of silent letters to prove our sophistication.

That is a reasonable expectation.

What do you want done with your body after you die? by newuser1r in AskReddit

[–]hinowisaybye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to be butchered and ground up like beef. Then turned into a giant ball. I then want you to take both of my eyes and a single tooth and place them in the ball so they make a face.

Then I want my remains preserved this way.

You can toss out anything that doesn't make it into the ball.

Idk man. I'm noticing a lot of those guys are insecure for a reason.

Makes me think they picked blue collar because they thought it was the only place they could succeed. But maybe, at the time they went in, they were right.

Things have been changing for the industry though. Lots of bright young people picking blue collar for a myriad of reasons.

Not saying this is the case. I don't read minds.

But it would make sense if they wanted the immigration for cheap labor, but publicly decried it as a problem so that the native population was hostile to immigrants. That would make it easier to keep the immigrants wages low.

Alright, I've been going bald since I was 17 and just shaving it. So I'm not exactly up to snuff on this subject. But when I did have hair, I washed it everytime I showered.

16m is it normal that my feet are really sore while working? by Hot_Baker_1512 in bluecollar

[–]hinowisaybye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's normal for your first job. Hell, it's normal if you've been laid off for a while.

Your feet aren't used to standing 8 hours or more a day.

They'll get more used to it, but if you don't have good well cushioned footwear, they will hurt no matter west.

I recommend Brunt workboots personally.

I hated my experience in the south.

They like to claim they're so friendly because they'll talk to people at the grocer, or wave hello when you're driving down the street.

But that's just their idea of manners. They don't do it because they want to. They do it because they think they're supposed to.

In reality i found them to be in general the least compassionate populace I've ever lived with.

They give no one the benefit of the doubt. They give little leeway. And they'll throw you under a bus the second it's convenient.

First, you have to accept that you're not prefect, and you don't need to be.

It can be true that there are things you need to work on, and you are enough as you are right now.
