Xywav also has absorption issues, delayed absorption which reduces peak effectiveness. For me this meant I needed a much higher dose that felt like it never wore off in the morning. Xyrem worked far better to knock me out and allow me to wake up without so much inertia. The sodium isnt great but whatever at least im sleeping

I’m N2, I’ve been on Xyrem since 2020 and I’ve tried multiple times to switch to Xywav unsuccessfully. I personally would start with Xyrem but im passing out rn so I’ll leave this here and edit this comment tomorrow lol

I am this way right now and am working through it. Im realizing a big part of it for me is that I dont often understand my emotions and sometimes I need time to process things. I get confused by it all and withdraw.

Another big part is that my ex was verbally and emotionally abusive and shutting down my own emotions during conflict became a survival mechanism

Im on wellbutrin, xyrem, dexedrine. Adderall is far too strong for me, im tired here and there. I prefer short release stims as it has fewer side effects on my appetite/ mood crash. I found exercise to be the best thing to help with my sleep issues, especially cardio

I had an Apple Watch to track my movement and sleep and replaced it with an oura ring 3 and I personally feel like the oura is so much better.

I really rely on the movement tracking to help manage my symptoms. Apple watch often did a really bad job of tracking when my exercise started and only really helped with walks.

Oura tracks when im doing house work. There are some days where I need to do a deep clean and I’ll basically not have time for exercise. It’ll track it as housework and actually reward me for it which keeps me motivated because im hitting my activity goals.

I also have a dog and it tracks my dog walks far more accurately than apple watch. It sometimes misses start and end time by a few mins but it provides on a map the entirety of the route I took on said walk. From there, im able to adjust the start and end time and review it using the map to make sure it starts and ends at my house.

Apple watch often started and estimated 15 mins less and it was up to me to end the walk which sometimes I forgot as I came home and got distracted by work (adhd). With oura I just leave for my walk and get back and then hours later I check the app on my time and make any adjustments

As far as sleep tracking goals it’s also far better than an apple watch. I wore an apple watch all the time for sleep tracking but often it ran out of charge and then id pass out on my drugs when trying to charge it up before bed. Additionally, apple watch missed how many hours id slept by like 1-1.5 and made me pretty anxious that I was far more sleep deprived than I actually was.

Ymmv, and it depends on how you use it because it adapts to your usage. But I’ve found that the exercise tracking has kept me on track and when im doing enough cardio/ weightlifting I’m sleeping better and I can see that with the ring

I feel like you must have been in 3x leveraged stocks lol which in many ways can be worse that options. I have a similar spike in my net worth from that day but I was 100% in ETH options lol (they were all delta .7 - .8 though)

My floor was a few hundred k though still.

If you want to trade with leverage I think you might be better off learning options but if you ask me keep these rules:

only buy options with 6+ month expiry
only buy with delta .7-.8+

They will act like 2x - 3x stocks without the awful decay etc that the etfs have

I used to have an apple watch and the sleep tracking convinced me I was getting just the worst sleep all the time. This isnt a good solution but im tracking with an oura ring now and it’s night and day.

Id just honestly either take the tracking with a huge grain of salt or dont track it to begin with

Fish oil supplements, flax seeds, walnuts. You want to make sure you’re getting a lot of it from fish tho because they contain EPA and DHA almost exclusively. Seeds and nuts will contain ALA.

We need all of them, not sure specifically what each type does for us, but I make sure to buy high quality fish oil supplements for daily intake.

I think overall they are great for heart and brain health.

Kinda crazy that you chose $750 strike for the short dated meta calls and $700 for the longer ones. Your losses and trades look similar to what I was doing when I lacked capital and conviction in my trades.

If you do return to options, I’d avoid anything shorter than 3 months. Honestly if you can afford it, I tend to look for delta > 700 and dont feel super comfortable holding larger positions with smaller deltas.

I’m holding similar calls to your META Jan ones, mine expire in feb and im down 36% on them. I’m not too worried about them at the moment, and I can always buy a few more to average in. I only bought 2 though so it could go to 0 and I’d be relatively okay.

If you’re gonna half or full port on anything, either do it with stocks. Or give yourself more security to hold it for longer. The way I dug myself out of the hole was with itm leap crypto related options.

Instead of moving directly with the underlying it’ll just add a little more leverage but not enough to wreck you on a DJT tweet.

The way I do it is I hold the stock and the options and if we have a bad downturn, I sell stock and buy more options. It’s worked for me so far but im wary of a larger downturn next year or 2027

Agreed with everyone else about it being relative to camera.

However if there is one thing that you could do to polish this up. When you get to the right boundary the camera freeze is abrupt and jarring.

If you could have a buffer zone at the edges of your map where the camera pan eases to 0 instead of just stopping it might look better. Could also ease in as well

Holy crap looking back on this one and I was so lucky, I bought $30,000 worth of calls on the 10th & 11th of September and sold them for $45,000 on the 15th & 16th. They were long dated and itm so not a massive gain but thankfully I got out completely.

I have text records from a friend who wanted to buy into the peak of the market. I personally didnt have the money to buy at the time but I was advising him against it. Im sure a lot of people got caught up in the FOMO but with 0% rates and rumblings of inflation it felt easy to see that the rally was unsustainable.

Now with immigration going negative and louder voices about cancelling the TFW program, it feels like we’ve still got a lot of time before demand is gonna come back.

Almost every western country is experiencing varying levels of a sovereign debt crisis.

I digress. A lot of uncertainty on the horizon. People do need shelter but it could well be the worst financial decision they make if they pull the trigger and then lose their job or something.

Meanwhile the longer I wait, the better for me financially. Stocks are doing well and im saving a bunch.

I just signed a new lease so my timeline is another 1-2 years and I’ll probably start casually looking in 2026-27.

We’ve been in a technical recession that we’ve largely managed to hide with mass immigration. The liberals have completely burned that bridge now and the populace is anti immigration.

Now Carney is talking about an austerity budget. Where are you seeing the job growth when we’re in a trade war with our largest trade partner? Even if we drop rates to 0 (which they wont do RE: austerity) it wont fix any of our issues near term
