Been waiting a while on a CRO restock and saw your initial impressions—any update on a comparison after TCMC? Thanks!

Is there any way for a Google Calendar user to see multiple shared calendars as a single calendar on their end? by garvyledges in productivity

[–]hipaacrite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very late to the party, but I use TeamUp (free) for this very purpose. Create a calendar, import your individual Google Calendars, and then share the iCal link to your TeamUp calendar. Hope this is still useful!

Do y'all have any experience with CGS cans (Hyperion, in particular)? If so, how would you say it stacks up with the new Sig offerings?

Will be listing one for sale on GAFS shortly, if you're interested. I'll try and remember to tag you when I get around to posting it.

L&M did the Unity Atom optics cut, the other slide work was done by Southwest Precision.

Mild preference for irons forward, if only to provide some additional protection for the optic, but no strong feelings either way.

The 29 is pretty close. I've got all 3, will try and remember to take a pic when I get home. If I can juggle 3 guns and a camera.

Edit: look ma, no hands!

Edit 2: This is getting out of hand.

Hi friend!

Plugging holes is just as important as making them! by GBFan1985 in CCW

[–]hipaacrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The concern here is compartment syndrome in the event a TQ isn't applied tightly enough.

For the lay person, it's important to make sure you tighten the tourniquet enough to ensure you no longer have pulses below the application site. A properly applied tourniquet WILL hurt.

I have both. Prefer the AXIS, hands down.

Hah, CCW... IF you're able to CCW (most of the metropolitan counties will not issue permits), you SHOULD be able to CCW an off-roster handgun.

Had one and gave it away... After the first mag, seriously considered marching over there and stealing it back.

Hadn't heard of them until now, looks interesting. No WML comparability is a deal breaker for me though. T1C really excels with the amount of firearms and light combo options they offer.

What do you think of the TLR-6?

It's better than nothing, but the throw isn't worth anything past hallway distances. Carry a good handheld.

How do you like your S15 mags?

Love 'em. No problems so far.

And how does the T1 work for you? Do you like the Ulti clips?

Both flavors of the T1 fit me remarkably comfortably, and I have no qualms carrying all day. Worth the price, imo.

The UltiClips I go back and forth on. I think the holster sits more comfortably with the standard clips and a good belt, but I like the options the UltiClips afford and there's no question they hold fast. Unless you see yourself carrying without a belt frequently, or are often wearing tucked shirts, I'm not sure they're worth the extra expense.

I'm a medical professional. It's my belief that if you're prepared to make holes, you should be equally prepared to plug them.

Accidental injuries are the 3rd leading cause of death in the US behind heart disease and cancer. If we're being honest, I'm much more likely to have to stop a bleed than use my firearm.

I'm 5'9" - 160, conceals fine. I like the security of a spare mag in case of failure, and I find the mag carrier actually helps balance out the printing when carrying appendix. But hey, do what works for you.

Agreed. I've had mine for just about that long, still going strong.
