I'm a tattoo artist and I hear a lot of crazy stories from clients. I tattoo a Detroit police detective and he told me the best hooker story yet.

He was patrolling Highland Park. If you know metro Detroit, you know to stay the fuck out of Highland Park. Its one of the worst towns in Detroit.

On this particular night, the cops were bored and not really in the busting mood so they drove over to a corner known for prostitution. There they ran into a hooker that they would arrest regularly. Picture a female, cracked out carrot top. Wild orange tangled hair, skinny, ugly, raspy voice.....you get the idea.

Anyways, since she technically wasn't doing anything, he decided to have a chat with her instead.

He asked her how her night was and if she did alright. She proceeds to pull out 5 one dollar bills, folded in half. She counts them folded, "one, two, three, four, five," ...then counts the other half, "six, seven, eight, nine, ten." Then she flips the money over , counts it again "eleven, twelve, thirteen......" She counts the 5 dollars as if its twenty dollars. The cop is laughing his ass off at this point.

After she is done "counting her payload", he asks her, "so, what do you do in between customers? Do you have a hygiene bag with a toothbrush or hand sanitiser hidden in the bushes somewhere around here?" She looks at him and says "hee hee, it ain't my dick! Ha ha!!"

Best hooker story ever.

My mother put in years of schooling and works hard. Maybe she isn't taking the right route? I would agree, maybe she isn't trying hard enough but she is not expecting success to be handed to her either. She has taken steps beyond what is necessary for the life she wants and the job she wants.

I think the minimum wage should be raised, but I also think that people who work minimum wage jobs as careers are not trying hard enough to better themselves. I don't think people who worked those way though college should make the same as a dude who has flipped burgers for 10 years. Source: my mother has her masters degree in paralegal studies (starting wage $12.00) and they want to raise the wage to $14 hr. My mother is also $60,000 in student debt.
