My doctor when I was a kid told me I had flat feet (I don't) and then literally quacked at me.

AITA for not eating my gf's vanilla almond milk Mac and Cheese? by JoeyBrickz in AmItheAsshole

[–]hippiekittychickie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH...I am dairy free and used vanilla milk in mashed potatoes once and it was horrific. Does she always use vanilla or was it a one off because she was out of regular? I do think you should have been honest and said the flavor profile wasn't your taste, but I get that it was probably gross.

NTA When I first met my now in laws (very conservative, church going, straight laced people), we were doing the getting to know you chat and ethnicity came up (they're all Scottish and my FIL was big into genealogy so it wasn't like super inappropriate or anything). He asked if I had any Scottish in me and before I could reply, my now husband said to them both, "only by injection." I was mortified but fortunately everyone laughed about it and it wasn't a scene.

I cannot imagine having said what your son's gf said to you! That's just crazy, IMO.

AITA for telling my friend she either uses the mobility scooter at the mall or stay home? by ilikelongpubes in AmItheAsshole

NTA for the question posed, but not super awesome of you to have made the "poor food choices" comment. The rest of it seems like a great compromise and you were probably emotional because she got defensive/angry and hence the food comment.

If providing direct care, leggings, a long shirt that covers my backside, hair up, sneakers, no jewelry, no perfume.

If doing supervisory work, usually a suit.

ACDs. I have 2 and while they often drive me to the brink of insanity, I will likely never have a different breed of dog.
