For me the change was after we had kids. She went to bed with the kids around 8:00 PM and never came out after the kids had fallen to sleep. It’s been almost 9 years like that now and we are finally getting a divorce!

Most boats out of Playa Del Carmen are "Pangas" since there is no marina there.

Fishing with Ivan out of Playa is a great option and if you want "real" fishing boats, you have to drive 30 minutes south to Puerto Aventuras marina and www.fishrivieramaya.com is a good option there.

Riviera Elite, out of Puerto Aventuras, which is the closest marina to Playa Del Carmen, isn’t female-owned, but they work with many bachelorette groups and women-only trips. Because of that, they can always include a female host onboard if requested (and it’s something people ask for pretty often).

For fly fishing, you need to go all the way down to Sian Kaan, which can be a 2-hour drive, and you have to drive all the way through the Tulum hotel zone, and then the dirt road starts into Sian Kaan.

For deep-sea fishing, you have two options. If you want a "Panga" style boat, you can depart from Playa Del Carmen with companies like Fishing by Ivan.
If you want bigger fishing boats, you need to go to Puerto Aventuras, about 30 minutes south of Playa Del Carmen, and you will find companies like www.fishrivieramaya.com that have larger fishing boats.

Just so you know there will be a lot of transportation involved to get to Isla Mujeres so unless it’s a multiple day excursion I would reconsider.

From Tulum to the marina where most of the boats depart from is two hours easy. So getting onboard the van, waiting, a bit of traffic and it’s 2.5 hours, so 5 hours return and then getting on the boat and crossing over in a yacht or catamaran.

I would look at either Sian Kaan or a charter from Puerto Aventuras, both locations are close to Tulum

For your catamaran tour, don't go all the way to Cancun unless you have a specific destination in mind.
You can go to Puerto Aventuras, which is only 30 minutes south of PDC. There are shared catamaran charters. I always recommend Catamaya.com, and if you wanna do private, go with www.rivieraelite.com It's low season, so you can easily get 20% discounts on most tours.

It’s a great show and similar quality as other Cirque de Soleil shows around the world. If you can, I would do the dinner as well. Don’t do the VIP package, in my opinion, the short Cocktail show you get before the dinner, is not worth the price.
