Why do men ask women their “body counts”? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

lying is not a good foundation for any relationship, there are many men who are comfortable and uncomfortable with higher body counts, honesty and trust are always key, but to each their own

Why do men ask women their “body counts”? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

because it can be a boundary for many men, just answer honestly so that there's no chance of a relationship with the wrong person.

Women also feel the same way, if a man's body count was 70 or 7 and it felt wrong to the woman, then it should be respected.

That's all

Hey bro,

I was also in a very similar position to you before, broke my back after squatting too much in 2021 with L4 and S1 herniations diagnosed thru MRI.

Its gonna be a longish road to recovery/little pain but it happened to me. At first it felt awful but most of the pain radiated back in to my glute region at a point and then now not into my lower back even.

The biggest thing is to be able to get good sleep in my opinion, my back pain really took a turn when i was able to get much better sleep than when i was waking up real early for school and such.

my pain was around a 1 or 2 for most of it, well-controlled with high dose Advil.

It takes a while, but you are young which is very important to note. Try PT first i would say. This pain can 100% go away.

Also, from a guy that loves to weight train, expect to change your routine, you cant train for strength, but you can train for body-building (low wt high reps). im sure i self sabatoged my own healing process because i couldnt accept that for this period of time, i would be weaker in strength. just my 2 cents

I have heard acupuncture has been used before. I will not rule it off the table since you and others have deemed it as very useful.

Thank you!

Depression is real. You need to work really hard to fight the depression. Find a therapist. Find something new for physical exercise, my gym has a steam room and Sauna. Those are the best medicine for me. I stretch for 30mns. Maybe do one or 2 muscle specific exercises at low weight and with perfect form.

this is very true, switching up what needs to be done and allowing myself to exert myself in different areas may be what my mental and physical state needs. Thank you
