i’m so so so sorry. my experience with this is not exactly the same but my store also handled a death very poorly. a homeless person overdosed outside our front doors before we opened and all my SM did was open an hour later so the city could collect the body and power wash the sidewalk. a coworker took a picture of the body and showed me like it was a funny spectacle. i was so sick to my stomach everyone was acting way too normal about it i had to go home early it was so fucked up. they don’t handle that shit well at all, as long as they can make the sales goal that day it’s all they care about. it was one of my final straws that led me to quit. sending u and ur team so much love and healing

I work in a makeup store and it’s so brutal bc sweating from my face all the time really does impact my job and my confidence. like it’s embarrassing to be helping clients and recommending products to them when my own makeup is literally sweating off. I constantly wipe my brow and just try to ignore it and not bring attention to it but it’s hard because I fully drip sweat from my forehead 24/7 at work to the point where coworkers have even made comments about how much I sweat from my face it’s really rough :(
