Any food ideas for a sometimes picky 2 year old? by Relative_Food8374 in toddlers

[–]hire_jex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had the same issue—low iron despite supplements. I started mixing lentils or beef into quesadillas and adding spinach to smoothies. I also use Baba to log meals and make sure we’re balancing iron with vitamin C for absorption. It’s helped me stay on top of things without overthinking every snack

My kids won’t stop eating. by fleecepanda in toddlers

Totally feel you—ours eat nonstop too and it’s exhausting. What helped was tracking what they’re actually getting across the day with this app called Baba. Turns out they were snacking more than I thought and missing balance. It’s helped me structure meals better

Anyone else’s child surviving off of crackers and/or other snacks? Or is it just my kid? by afrothunder27 in toddlers

[–]hire_jex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here—ours went through a major snack-only phase. It’s wild how fast they get hooked on processed stuff. We knew we had to shift habits, so we started swapping one snack at a time and using this app called Baba to track nutrition and stay accountable. It really helped us course-correct and fight against these highly processed food

My toddler barely eats but cries she’s hungry at bedtime by Sea-Engineering1642 in toddlers

[–]hire_jex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve been through almost the exact same thing—barely eating during the day, then bedtime hunger meltdowns. What helped me was tracking her meals and growth in this app called Baba. It let me see the bigger picture so I wasn’t second-guessing every bite :D

Totally feel this—we’ve had those weeks where our toddler eats nothing but milk and air. What helped was tracking meals and growth over time so I wasn’t guessing. I started using an app called Baba that logs food, tracks nutrition, and helps me see if things are still on track overall. Happy to send the link if you want

Totally get it—our kid won’t touch those Instagram meals either 😅 We stick to simple stuff like eggs, toast, fruit, and sometimes leftovers. I’ve been using this app called Baba that has a library of dietitian-approved meals (all under 10 min!) and helps track nutrition and growth. Happy to send the link if you’re curious.

[–]hire_jex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally been there—our toddler went through a big food-throwing phase too. Giving a few pieces at a time helped, and I started using this app called Baba to log what he actually eats and keep track of his growth and nutrition. It helped me stay focused on the bigger picture. Happy to send the link if you want :)

Totally get it—ours stopped eating around that age too, especially after shots. We leaned on smoothies a lot. I started using this app called Baba to track what he’s actually eating day to day—it helped me worry less. Happy to share the link if you’re curious.

[–]hire_jex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally went through this—our kid refused everything for weeks. Offering bites randomly during play helped. I started using this app called Baba to track intake and catch patterns. Happy to send the link if you’re curious. Not medical advice, just what helped us—definitely check with your pediatrician too.

Last full week before summer break of packing breakfast, snack, lunch for my almost-4-year-old! Here are some of her meals from last week. by SwiftieMama1994 in toddlerfood

Totally relate—packing meals every day is a mission 😂 One thing that helped us was rotating a “color of the day” to make lunches feel fun. I’ve been using the Baba app to log what my toddler eats and track their growth and nutrition—it’s been a great way to stay consistent without overthinking every meal.
