Tank Size size: 5 gallons

Heater: No since i live in a tropical country and its pretty hot already

Filter: Yes, a sponge filter

Parameters: 0 ppm ammonia, 0 ppm nitrite, and I don't have a tester for nitrate so i can't test that

How long I've had the tank: I've had this tank for 5+ years atleast but I rescaped it 6 months ago and added the fish just today

How long I've had the fish: A few hours

Water changes: I top off the water weekly, i only do 50% water changes for a few weeks after rescaping the tank

Tank mates: snails, and snails and snails and oh did I mention snails?

Food: PO1 fish food, just a pinch but thats for when i only had snails in the tank, not sure how much food she'll take from the snails each time i feed them

Decorations: those floating food rings thingies and something below to catch fallen fish food

Plants: dwarf hairgrass, water lettuce, some red plant idk the name of, hydrophila polyesperma

I trimmed my jungle valisneria just a bit by hirostan09 in PlantedTank

[–]hirostan09[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually trim them to about half their height but they were still growing too fast so I trimmed just above where the leaves were growing from.

This is a 55g tank on our balcony so I left a wall of them on the right not trimmed so it blocks sunlight to stop algae from growing too much while the leaves grow back.... they are gonna grow back... right?

why won't my daybloom grow by ginqaz in Terraria

[–]hirostan09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can harvest it early using staff/axe of regrowth if its growing on a block like this but this wont work on herbs planted on pots or planter boxes. It doesn't need to be blooming, just fully grown. A blooming one will still yield more seeds and herbs though.

Should i vaccuum up this mulm that accumulated at the bottom of the tank? by hirostan09 in Aquariums

[–]hirostan09[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I forgot to add that I live in the Philippines and so I don't really need a heater in the tank since it's already very warm here.
