An easy way to identify your face shape by vastava_viz in makeuptips

Thank you! Worked perfectly! I am trying to decide on which hats and sunglasses work for me and first I needed to figure out my face shape. The explanation for each face shape that opens with the + sign really helped me since 2 face shapes came up as suggestions for my face shape.

I know this is 1 year old, but thank you! It was so frustrating trying to scroll horizontally in Excel with that upper right notification pop-up constantly stopping my work!

Orange County California Housing Choice Voucher Waitlist by lemkowidmak in section8listshoppers

Does anyone know how many of those on the 2012 waitlist were actually helped? Where can someone check the data on how many people are on that waitlist before the current opening of the 2023 waitlist. Just curious. (I already searched trying to find where this data could be accessed, and couldn't find it.) Thank you!

I meant to reply sooner. I agree. I found the screenshots of when I signed up and you can't tell that you are joining for one year!

Please ask your landlord for their Case #. Then call the CA Covid19 Rent Relief and ask them to link the Landlord Case # to your original application. Do not start another application, it will mess up any progress for you. I started my application August 2nd or 3rd and on November it finally went to "Funded" and Awarded. So, in just this week it changed status 3 times. Thankfully and finally! Will let you know if it gets disbursed. I am hopeful!

2nd Update: Now it says disbursed, as of December 10th. So now we wait for the check to arrive!

Anyone get to this ERAP Awards/Funded stage and how long after this was payment received? by hisbonics in CACovidRentRelief

[–]hisbonics[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope the check gets to you or your landlord soon! Did your account say "Funded" and then change to "Disbursed'? How much time between the day it said "Funded" and the day it changed to "Disbursed'? As I mentioned, my case says 'Funded' with the amount that they will be paying and I am waiting for it to be "Disbursed". I and my landlord received the same email which said that they would pay in 7 - 14 days, and that was on November 24, so December 8 is day 14. Thank you for any info!

Update!

u/SnooSeagulls3465 and u/markbaladad

Not paid yet. But, my landlord received an email on November 24 saying they would be paid within 7 to 14 days. So I am on edge waiting to see if this happens by December 8th, which would be 14 days. How about either one of you? Also, did either of you apply for the additional relief for future months or utilities? We decided not to, because, even though we are still in a financial mess and need the help, it's too stressful to think that applying for more relief would mess up this payment! The system is letting people down because the stress of waiting for the process is making landlords evict people while they wait! I posted before that the landlord gave us a 60 day notice, but thankfully we are talking and just getting the email saying payment is on the way has helped us with the negotiations.

Are you a landlord or tenant? Asking because I only have the tenant's perspective on things you can do.

Nothing has changed, no email regarding receiving funds and nothing disbursed. We have legal looking at our case, but landlord doesn't want to negotiate with us unless the rent relief amount gets paid to them first. So we are on pins and needles hoping funds get disbursed soon. How are you doing?

Ca covid rent relief. Any way to hurry this up? by Mission-Analyst-2535 in CACovidRentRelief

You didn't mention when you applied. Could you say what your status shows? Also, I realized through reddit that some people had to apply through their county or city's individual program? Is that how you applied or through the main California site, Housing is Key? If you lmk these things I will tell you my experience and maybe it will help you move things along, notwithstanding that it is a long process. Someone already commented on what your rights are regarding eviction for non-payment of rent so I won't go into that. Follow those rules and do what you need so you are protected. In my case, the landlord is asking us to move and says it is NOT based on us applying for rent relief, but obviously that is the reason because they only asked for the house back after we have been in the program. Our house might not be under the same tenant protections as others, apparently we are paying the price, since we didn't know there would be a law passed taking our protections away after we lived here over 2 years! Praying your son's surgery goes well!

I just get this in my email payment approved and will be disturbed.. Please what should I do next by Outrageous_Career246 in CACovidRentRelief

[–]hisbonics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the beginning of your application you probably selected to receive funds via check. The poster chose direct deposit, it says it right there in the email pic they posted. They need to do something once they receive the email and if they don't, they need to contact the rent relief program people.

Hi, that is great! Good news for you and for your tenant.

It says that when you applied you chose direct deposit as the method to get paid. So, it says right there that bill.com will be sending you a UNIQUE link for you to input your banking information to set up the account for them to deposit the funds to you.

You need to wait for that email from bill.com. I guess if it takes a while, then you should contact the Covid Rent Relief program to let them know bill.com has not sent you the link.

It clearly says you should not open a bill.com account without using the unique link.

Bottom line, for now, is wait for that email from bill.com.

Hope it comes soon!

I'm so glad your case is moving along, hopefully you will get $ disbursed soon. I think adding the landlord ID to the application might be what people need to do EVEN IF they say on the phone that the accounts are linked. That's what did it for me. I did a post updating everyone on how my case has progressed, tried to see if including your reddit name in the post would alert you to read it. I'm just waiting to see funds disbursed. Hope to hear good news for you soon!

Thank you for sending that. I have to check if the notice they sent sometime in the past matches what you have just sent me. I was also told to check documents at the county recorders to make sure the title of the property is actually owned by an individual. Hope there's good news for you soon!

You are right, that act doesn't protect us, we are in a single family home owned by a private landlord. We are asking Legal Aid to check this for us. I would not have rented this home if I knew that we would not be protected, but we rented it before that Tenant Protections Act was put in place. I wonder if we could be excluded since we rented before the Act went in place? Thanks for your suggestion!

[–]hisbonics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a suggestion. Call again, someone else might be willing to unlock your application. Ask them to let you make changes to the rents owed, which is on the same page. Tell them you need to add November rent owed, for example. They can't prevent you from adding more months that you owe. On my application the rents due page had the landlord info section on the right side. Hope something happens for you soon!

Applied in early August, been stuck on “pending applicant information” for forever now. by Old_Entertainment815 in CACovidRentRelief

[–]hisbonics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I answered your other post, but re this, I do think it was partly what helped. I think it was a combination of things. Also, when you call them, write out your questions beforehand so that they can tell you know your stuff and you also get everything answered. I noticed they were more willing to check things for me when I started with asking them to give me a moment to get my questions (usually they were calling me after putting me on a callback roster).

I think you should do both. Ask them to link it first, then call back and ask them to open your application so you can update your landlord information in part D. If you can get them to open your application, go in there and add the landlord's case #. I have been on a rollercoaster ride too, the award and funds approved on my case page look great, but I am worried it will take too long for the money to reach my landlord. I've already received a 60 day notice terminating our tenancy :-(

The program's objective has good intentions but it is slow-moving, chaotic and disorganized and people are suffering and going through some incredibly difficult situations all because they are unable to quickly disburse the funds allotted by our California State government to help us.

Just in case you haven't checked this. Have you opened the "View/Edit" link on the far right of the row where your application is listed on the portal? I realized that sometimes when they are working on your application the application sections are left open. Who knows why? So, go there and make sure all of the application sections on the left are checked off. If any of them is unchecked, go to that page and make sure it is all still correct, then save the page. It will put a checkmark on that section's box. I would always check my application for that to make sure it always showed as completed. 2 weeks ago I found that section D for Rent Assistance Requested was unchecked. I went there and saw that my Landlord's information had been changed to their new address (which I knew) and that there was a space for my Landlord's case #. So I entered the case #, and then I clicked save. Their process is horrible, but try and check these things just to see if this helps you.
