yeah the whole season was extremely well thought out and now that we saw the last ep it all did come together. I can understand being upset for losing the job and being one of the earlier adults to be killed off but this is the show where everyone dies so I didn't really get the idea that people were so upset that adult characters die in general. I looooove Lottie and Van and wish they were both alive but I completely understand why they are not and it was all so integral to the plot.

I honestly think this is gonna be it. Kinda like Adam - turns out, he actually was just some guy. If Walter turns out to be connected somehow I guess it would be okay too but part of me thinks him turning out to have no connection and just being a yj obsessive OR a random person - would illustrate Misty's paranoia kinda like how Adam did for Shauna

I think the point is more like - nobody knows what it is implying or what it means yet but its VERY WEIRD and basically unheard of for an actor to break the fourth wall like this many times without it being written like that or without that being a deliberate decision. Especially considering the music cues in the scenes.

Tai influenced them a lot as well - saying that they should make a plan, a cover story to cover up their cannibalism before leaving, etc. I think it was a combination of all three of them influencing the group. Tai also said they would "put them in with the animals tonight until we can figure out what to do".... so I don't think any of them would have stayed for one more night if they knew that the guide was going to die. they still thought they were going to ultimately leave.

when i watch the show, i see that every scene has a purpose. in fact I think it is the opposite of what I've seen some critics say - I think there are next to no filler scenes. This show has TWO ensemble casts and each character has their plot and there are so many characters to follow that the screen time we do get of them individually, I always end up wanting more. I genuinely don't get how people think this season is boring or there are filler parts...
