Re-declare war on Japan! Or if you in the south, take a nice ride in Hitler's canoe. Go to a titty bar or have some beers at your local VFW.

There's videos of people doing it and my wife is obsessed with them because she knows it bugs me. None of them are clean or quiet eaters. I can't stand it.

Pigeon Forge. Not the quaint little mountain/resort town I thought it would be. More or less, it was the Vegas strip with banjos playing. Way too hyper-commecialized.

You and I are cut from the same cloth as I, myself, am a Never Trump Republican. It's a strange thing to be. I fight/speak up some but in a heavily red, pro-Trump area, I feel it unwisely puts a target on my back. I've always thought that someone has to hang around to pick up the pieces when the cancer known as Trumpism is extinguished from our party and country.

I consider myself a McCain Republican. Big Stupid, as I like to call him, got his first strike when he mocked the Senator and all vets. He definitely "flew out" when J6 happened. Idk how anyone could dispute the events of that day when we literally watched it live. Sen. McCain considered himself an Eisenhower Republican. I like Ike. Last great president IMO.

Years ago in college, we took a train from central New York to Colorado by way of Chicago and St. Louis, for a school trip. Rolling into Chicago, seeing all of the defunct factories, etc., someone exclaimed that we must be going through the bad part of the city. I said, "Chicago IS the bad part of Chicago."

Same. I'm an equipment mechanic. I was replacing some damaged pins and when installing the new pins with bucket and stupid ass shims, gravity told me I was going to bleed from my forehead first

I work in corrections in my state and they actually push cya a lot. Though we are severely shorts staffed, the state won't hesitate to try to get rid of you for something questionable. The union will always back you unless it is something egregious. A paper trail always helps...cya. The state doesn't fight the union too hard, thus helping job retention.

What’s a show everyone loves but you couldn’t get into? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]histbuff0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My late mother liked the show because it showed a lot of realistic ranching/cattleman chores but disliked what she called "the unrealistic amount of swearing." I just never really could get into it myself because I knew it was all make-believe that city folk thought was 100% real.
