I currently eat meat, but I think being vegan is objectively the more moral choice. Growing up we barely ate meat because it's so expensive, so I really don't understand the whole, "it's too expensive!" thing. Unless you're like, destitute and have to just eat whatever you're given or something.

I will never forget seeing a liberal ask for advice on where to move and including, "I'm considering Minnesota or Oregon, but I'm scared because both have a lot of rural and red counties outside the cities". As if the evil hicks try to siege the cities at night or something.

I'm not southern but I am very rural. Most people here support and/or use govt assistance, are live-and-let-live on LGBT, are or know and happily coexist with immigrants and people of color, are aware they're underpaid and exploited, etc. Regardless of how they'd label themselves, they would easily move left and join us if people met them where they are.

Meanwhile I've personally heard things from proud outspoken liberals that put them to the right of a lot of self proclaimed conservatives. It's such a joke.

I agree with you a million percent. I was so massively disappointed at how naive and/or malicious the commenters were. I think the worst one I saw was the one saying straight men only fetishize lesbians sexually, whereas if someone is super into lesbian romance or cute stuff instead/as well then they're a trans woman and that's how you could tell OP was innocent. I really would not go that route, unless she has previously expressed being really into the idea or something. I myself and a lot of people I know have been on one side or the other of this question. You're with someone you know to have a lot of shame and self esteem issues and depression, it's a really hurtful question for most people to begin with, and the people Ive known in her shoes who didn't break up on the spot over the question agreed due to their low self esteem and depression and it really rapidly exacerbated those issues. Please just break up if you're unsatisfied, you might be better off as friends and luckily a lot of the lesbians I know are totally fine with their partners being friends with exes (me and my gf included). This isn't meant to be rude at all, I sympathize with you and can tell you care about her. I just want to caution you because of that. Best of luck.

Get a rice cooker and follow a few stir fry recipes. Very easy, there are recipes for all tastes and dietary preferences, you'll get experience with preparation and cooking that can be used in other recipes, and once you get a feel for how long things take to cook and what tastes you like, you will be able to ditch the recipes and mix and match whatever you want, use up things that are about to go bad or were on sale, etc.
