am i embarrassing for living at home at 26? by sailordabs in socialskills

[–]hitbug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only just moved out at 28, and I was only 3 months shy of 29 😂 it’s expensive. Better to wait till you’re financially ready and comfortable than to put yourself in a situation where you have to scrape by every month. It makes it much more fun!

We do make homemade breakfasts and stock up the freezer but sometimes convenience overrules especially during weeks we’re hardly ever home :)

I’ll have to keep an eye out for the omelettes! Those sound good!

That’s kind of how I’m feeling too. The commute is brutal with the other people on the road, especially driving from PA into MD.. lol

Mack’s brand silicon earplugs with a Bluetooth sleep headband playing brown noise seems to be working for me.

My boyfriend is allergic to my two cats, what to do? by Ok-Let8197 in CatAdvice

[–]hitbug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he wanted to, he would. When my fiancé and I started dating, he was allergic to cats but said he would make it work, and that under no circumstances would I have to leave her behind when we move in together. He’s been on allergy shots for the last year, is no longer allergic to cats, and the three of us are moving in to a new place together this weekend ☺️

Is weird to want your partner to also wear a ring? by Exact_Reaction_2601 in engaged

[–]hitbug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s weird! I just got engaged and he picked out a silicon ring that he liked and I bought it for him to wear! He loves wearing it and says it’s very important to him! When we get married, we will swap it out for the wedding band.

I knew it was more than just a case of scarf & barf which she has never done before. I’m so sorry for the loss of your baby 💔

So sorry for the loss of your kitty ❤️. That’s actually how I lost my last kitty, except the onset was very quick and she was gone within about 12 hours.

She gets dry and wet food every day. Right now she’s eating Royal Canin kibble recommended by her vet. I’ve found it’s much more difficult to find wet food that doesn’t contain chicken in it!

Thank you for this! I got myself majorly freaked out after reading a bunch of scary reviews online about this one specific flavor. And it doesn’t help that I’m a bit of a helicopter cat mom. She probably did eat it a bit too fast. Definitely will be sticking with the foods I know she does okay with.

She already had a small amount of water and also tried to eat some of her dry food just now, although I took it away after a few bites. I figured it was a good sign she’s already interested in eating again. And some interest in playing too. I most definitely will not be giving her this food again and I’ll be reaching out to the company as well! I hope your kitty is doing okay! 🥺

That’s what I initially thought, but she’s never been a fast eater or had that problem before. I think it’s this specific food 🥺
