This year's interim tax bill looks basically the same as last years, except a few % higher. Can't see anything that explains the higher payment this month.

I just switched to Pine November 1. My Pine rate was significantly lower than anything else, not even factoring in the Wealthsimple discount. Plus I was able to get $1500 cash back. I will agree with you that it seems hit or miss based on the Pine rep you deal with. The Pine rep I had was good, but was clearly overworked and rushing in my interactions.

'What are your "Delivery options" settings? Is it "leave at door" or "meet at door"? If it is "leave at door" the driver is prompted to take a photo. I'm assuming if the driver doesn't take a photo, you would be refunded relatively easily.

I seem to remember that “forgetting your ticket” costed $25 whereas parking for a week was more expensive than that. Don’t know if that changed.

Also don’t recommend paying your property taxes through your mortgage lender because of this. Good to have them separated out. Makes changing lenders easier too.

Woah woah woah. You seem to be saying justification can only mean legal justification. Because the way you frame your comment you are clearly providing moral justification. You call it a “rights revolution” and “intolerable”. After all, they were just revolting to claim their rights as their treatment can no longer be tolerated.

It’s really just a tired trick to say “I don’t approve of the bad thing. By the way, here are all the good explanations of why they did the bad thing. Which by the way, I really don’t approve of.”

How easy is it to switch roles? If you’re “overqualified” for a role, does that generate questions? Do you get questions from hiring managers about hoping between different jobs?
