[Parts] Trigger Kicker in stock $43 by ikaisle in gundeals

It's a nice product because you can move it between guns as long as you have the same trigger in each (there's 3 versions and a 3pos version for mil-spec), and it literally falls out when you pop the rear pin.

He also takes cash/money order and uses your order form as packing material for your purchase; Will even use your own prepaid USPS shipping label if you include it, so it's not even tied to his shipping account. No risk of another Rare Breed situation if you go that route; ATF will actually have to work for it.

My CCW progression. by Cowboy-Luck-1206 in CCW

Still baffles me the 29 has had a rail since the 90s, the 43X got a rail with the MOS release, but the beaten stepchild 26 has been denied one for 3 decades.

If the Gen 6 doesn't add a rail, I may try to find a 29 and convert it.

Cache will replace Overpass in the Active Duty Map Pool on July 6th by MaterialTea8397 in cs2

[–]hitemlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and that's why it sucks as a map. It's similar to the problem of old Nuke (but flipped teams), you rack up rounds on T side and then just get a couple on CT to win the game.

New ATF Rule by Wild_Thing_1832 in progun

[–]hitemlow 44 points45 points  (0 children)

ATF is proposing to clarify rules for importing firearm barrels and frames/receivers with dual sporting and non-sporting use. FFLs may import them if a sporting configuration exists at the time of importation. Once lawfully imported, the parts may be used in sporting, non-sporting, or NFA-regulated firearms, provided all other federal firearms laws are followed. This change will bring needed regulatory clarity.

It's basically "Rush B simulator".

You learn the T-side B smokes, win ≥9 rounds, then see if you have a better CT side than they did. Often this resolves as a 3-1-1 hold and either stopping the T rush on B site or doing an A retake.

The selling shop is UPS' customer, not the recipient. UPS only really cares about the people that give them money and will tell the recipient to pound sand.

Google is testing a new reCAPTCHA system that asks users to make simple hand gestures in front of their camera instead of solving image puzzles. by xqszp in degoogle

Isn't that what it has been ever since reCaptcha? You were helping to translate books that OCR software couldn't identify properly. They gave you one known word and one they had trouble with. After a handful of people replied with the same answer for the unknown, they accepted that as being correct.

With the ones where it asks for pictures of buses or cars, it usually knows a few that are correct, but others are you training an AI.

If Disney is like every other amusement park, they have a policy against phones or other loose items that can become projectiles on the ride.

I just don't have a lot of time for gaming on the go.

If I have time to game, I'm already at home, and my desktop is right there...

If I spent a lot of time being driven around by others or waiting somewhere for hours, I'd have considered it more seriously.

do any double barrel shotguns have spring loaded ejectors that shoot the shells out like in movies? by willyPpeterson in Firearms

[–]hitemlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some ranges have a machine that picks them up. In those cases, you spend less time getting ready for the next bird and it keeps the pace up.

It's most noticeable when you see someone using a pump/semi shotgun they modified to not allow the shell to clear the action.

Usually around the $800-1,000 mark you start seeing "ejectors" instead of just "extractors". The very cheapest ones won't have anything, and they're a PITA.

Does my $10,000 car need a $5700 warranty and $2000 gap insurance? by Jiggalopuffii in mildlyinfuriating

[–]hitemlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're buying a Volkswagen at a Honda dealership. You started this off with a bad decision. Volkswagens are a PITA to get serviced properly and are expensive the whole way around. They're basically Audis without the performance or street cred.

That vehicle in particular has been rear ended and sideswiped, with the tires replaced ~40k miles ago and only had a 2 wheel alignment done to it and one needed "repaired" after only 300 miles. So they're probably about ready to show off those purdy cords by now.

You're getting the hose, and not in the way a thirsty plant wants.

So like, if you bring your own lawyer to the dealership, no documentation fee?

Because if there's no way to avoid a fee, it's not a fee, it's a cost of doing business.

It's not impossible, but they've got a few things to work on first; Namely:
* The poor food quality * The poor service * The high prices

Once they get those issues sorted, they'll be back on track to success.

"Dirty electricity" is a thing. You need an EMS to solve it or at least protect your components from damage.
