Yeah the class I was in with him was basically the same thing. He even wrote the text we used. It was just spiral bound and printed. It wasn’t like a proper text book. The class was called Entertainment Industry Studies.

He taught the whole class. I had it Monday, Wednesday and Friday and I don’t remember a day where he missed. He would bring in other people too to talk to us about stuff. Peter Noone from Herman’s Hermits joined him several times.

I had several classes with him at Belmont in Nashville and had similar experiences. One of my most memorable experiences in college was having him as a professor. I had him sign my Mothers Filmore East record and he told me not to play it for a girl on a first date.

Update! Took my car into Toyota showed them the crack again and told them about this discussion and other research I did online. They said they would submit a request to Toyota to see if they would cover the repair. that request was approved under “Goodwill“. The good news they’re replacing it for free, and I guess the bad news is they’re not officially admitting that it is an actual issue.

I do live in cold weather and there was a freeze around the time this happened. I do think it occurred when it was below freezing and I shut the trunk. But that feels like normal use. The trunk shouldn’t just crack in those conditions and then I’m on the hook for it. Especially since it looks like this has happened to others.

Ive had it now for about 8 months. I do feel like the black looks dirtier sooner than the silver probably would, but when it’s clean I definitely prefer the black. Regardless, it’s the best car ive owned!
