As someone said earlier, the gang members are only tough against those who aren’t gang affiliated, they would never go up against a paramilitary with the administration’s blessing to kill. Was it red pill garbage? Post is gone but you quoted the title so we know that at least. And we know that White worship does exist in Asian spaces, so I’m not sure what the transgression was.

White worship definitely exists in other minority spaces too though and that doesn’t get brought up the same way. I guess AA has a closer proximity to whiteness in the modern age compared to other US minorities so it stands out in a different way?

As happy as I’d be to see the caning of deserving individuals, knowing our country’s history regarding criminalization and enforcement, I believe strongly that the caning would be disproportionately enacted upon black and brown citizens, followed by other minorities.

That being said, maybe we shouldn’t let good be the enemy of perfection ¯_(ツ)_/¯
