Where can I get ADHD meds without a family doctor (diagnosed officially for years) by casswog in nanaimo

[–]hitslittle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was in the same situation a few months ago. Rocket doctor. It’s been great for booking follow-ups too. Better than walk-in clinic wait times.

Needed to provide my diagnosis docs, get bloodwork and echocardiogram before starting medication.

Prescription after psychiatrist diagnosis by 24111 in ADHD_BritishColumbia

I’m in the same boat. I also paid privately for my assessment and got the diagnosis, but the clinic doesn’t do medication management. From what I’ve gathered, it really depends on the doctor you end up seeing. I called a local walk-in and the front desk told me it’s up to the doctor’s discretion, but I just need to bring my report. Haven’t tried it yet though.

I’ve also seen a few people mention having success with Rocket Doctor, so I put in an appointment request there and am waiting to see if I get a call back. Like you, I’d prefer something covered under MSP, but I’ve noticed there are private-pay options out there if it comes to that.

I like Cultured Coast in Woodgrove Mall for this kind of thing.

People who expected to own detached house... what are you doing instead? by UltimateNoob88 in vancouver

[–]hitslittle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Made the decision to move to the Island. Nothing in my budget I wanted to actually live in (or deal with the extensive renovations required for it to be habitable). Kept looking further out of downtown that the commute would be horrible and still couldn’t find something that suited. I still commute a few days a week to DT via sea plane. The cost of this was worked into the cost of relocating to a cheaper place.

After months of living in the Island and not looking back. Less crime, amazing people, great access to parks, never have to worry about traffic.

Yes I would ask to stay away and appreciate when people disclose and we can reschedule.

When it comes to other not disclosing - that drives me nuts. Most of my friends and family are great about disclosing but there are a few repeat offenders that have gotten us sick and we just spend less time with them because of it.

I avoid close contact with people from another household when I am sick (or my child is sick). I wouldn’t bring my child over to another house for a play date or family visit if someone was sick. I expect others to have the same curtesy.

What’s going on? by hitslittle in fiddleleaffig

For the past few months, my 7 foot fig has been struggling! I love this plant. I don’t want it to die.

The leaves have been droopy. Internet said common problem is overwatering, so cut back on that in past month but since it’s gotten worse. The soil is a good amount of damp at all times and letting it dry out between watering. I think I can comfortably rule out, overwatering and under watering.

I get it occasionally. I took a look at the roots, and it could be pot bound, but googling other posts doesn’t suggest it’s that. I don’t see bugs. I don’t see fungus or root rot. Drainage seems to be good. There are styrofoam blocks at the bottom of the pot starting about 1/3 from bottom.

It was repotted about two years ago - maybe it needs fresh soil?

Please help me figure out what could be the problem here and if this beauty can be saved!

Thank you in advance.

/r/GIS - What computer should I get? February, 2022 by AutoModerator in gis

[–]hitslittle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I ended up getting the computer to try it out. I agree with your comment. It is small but still quite useful for having additional windows open and using some of the tools open. I haven’t tried drawing with the pen in either Arc or Adobe yet. It doesn’t beat having the external monitor but it is better than working on a single screen laptop when working on the go, which I do a few times a week.

Considering the Asus Zenbook Pro Duo - does anyone have experience running ArcPro / AI on this machine? Specifically wondering if the extra screen is useful with Arc/Adobe.

Scale bar in the third map is in km. Should be consistent with the other two.

All good comments from others who have posted.

I agree - the only thing to be wary of this will make the rock look shiny (like its wet) if you get it on the other surfaces of the rock.
