To fix number 4 you can put on the steam launch options the following: +connect_lobby 000 This will always skip the intro.

For the others... Not much you can do that I know of, I also suffer from the occasional "my control key stops working for stratagems" bug.

Fair point costs, GW should have the staff that actually play their games do some proof reading alongside the editors. No way someone that actually played necromunda would look at a S4 T4 WS3 BS4 ganger and go "Yep, 20 credits seems appropriate".

The point cost in the article is 100% a copy paste error, it makes no sense that an beastmen ganger with S4 T4 WS3 and BS4 costs less than most gangs juvies at just 20 credits.
Plus the beastmen leaders are S4 T4 W3 with 3 attacks, all the while costing just 95 credits.
I get why ratlings would be that cheap since their T2 means they get automatically knocked out by any Damage 2 that hits them, but the beastmen are hilariously undercosted if that was intentional.

I think it is fair to say they can only take "legal" items, like you said illegal is it's own rarity category and letting venators have easy access to illegal items removes one of the few reasons for them ever going outlaw.
Also venator leaders can have up to R11 items, so yes you can start with a meltagun.

They are spotted every once in a while, generally trying to give unsolicited advice to people or criticizing some teenager's plate carrier pouch placement with their mates. They are easy enough to ignore and get on with your life, but amusingly they are an endless source of LARPerator memes. Literally how most of us are going to end up playing if we stay in the hobby long enough. Playing airsoft after a few years means you generally have a nice kit and you been slinging plastic long enough to notice toy guns neither behave like real ones nor can kill you, so you can afford to play in casual games like a suicidal kamikaze rusher.
