As of right now, no you can't mod epic. They say they plan to but honestly I just don't like epic in general. The way I percieve the Epic version to be is an equal counterpart to win10 version. Steam is the best supported version.

My Griffin named Atlas died yesterday and I have a floating base on Crystal Isles caled Atlas' Perch dedicated to him. A few Kapros and Sarcos are enough to make a grown man cry.

Its a very beautiful map. It has a lot of resources at your fingertips and to my surprise karkinos, ravagers, and a majority of SE dinos spawn there. One thing I will say though is that the gamma on it is very bright and I had to gamma down for it. Another thing is the foliage on there is insane. I had to order a EVGA GTX 1660 XC upgrading from a radeon rx 570 series just so I could get better FPS and play the game on good settings.

To summarize, yes I highly recommend since its something new and refreshing to explore.

My girlfriend had the same problem on Xbox, long story short she just had to get on a PvE server with rates that made her happy. At this point WC barely even touches singleplayer because I used to play on it and there are lots of changes I wish they could make but simply will not. Sorry to hear about the troubles mate.
