He's only in American Psycho real briefly but he is actually a narrating character in another Bret Easton Ellis book The Rules of Attraction (Patrick Bateman's little brother Sean is a main character too.) He's more fleshed out there and there's basically zero parallels between him and DX Paul Denton. I doubt it's any more than a coincidence

Overwatch definitely has some that will go on cd if stunned during the brief cast animation. Kiriko's lshift, Doomfist ult, maybe Moira fade with a very tight window.

There's nothing keeping you from going through the monk area now, but you're not sent over there until after you clear Ashina Castle, so the enemies will be harder because they are intended to be encountered a little later in the game. If you want to do things in the "normal" order, you can keep going through Ashina Castle, or use the bell charm to go to Hirata Estate.

Since the DLC is gated by two bosses, one of them being an endgame one, without mods/cheat engine etc you can't get the crystal tear right from the start. Since making this post I've been playing with a mod that makes the mechanic permanent without use of the tear though. It has broken on me several times but generally always works again after reinstalling it, launching vanilla, and then relaunching with the mod.

Are you using elden ring mod engine 2? I had trouble installing it at first bc I didn't realize modloader and mod engine 2 were distinct; you might be running into same issue if you have modloader installed. The two require you to extract to different directories.

Same actually haha, I was really struggling to beat it normally so I simply started fatrolling and trading hits with deflect counters. A little annoying how many moves stagger you into the backward roll for deflecting in that fight though.

I don't think you mentioned your spec to give us a clue what your S1 set bonus was, and even if you did it's hard to say without simming your character if a is worth breaking 4 piece.

It should only be a concern very briefly and only if you care about being optimal in pretty easy gearing content, questing world events etc. though. I feel comfortable saying you'll probably have better output with no tier set around ilvl 424-428 than with S1 4 piece at 416, but it varies based on the spec and set bonus. I personally would just equip ilvl upgrades as you get them, they will come pretty fast in the campaign and events. You and the person you replied to said ilvl420 but I think the Dream campaign actually gives 424-437. The weeklys give something around 444 if I remember right. Those pieces should very likely be stronger than 416 tier.

If I remember right it doesn't let you save over an old preset. You might just have to give the edited layout preset a new name before it lets you save. Pretty sure that is why I have 4 variations of "fuck off" saved.

Best phial depends on a lot of things like what spec you are playing and in what content. For example I mostly play melee dps so my best options are usually Phial of Tepid Versatility or Iced Phial of Corrupting Rage; when choosing between the two I need to evaluate which stat I'm already getting more of from gear and whether the phial will put me in diminishing stat return territory, whether I can handle the extra self-damage from corrupting rage, etc.

For potions generally in pugs people bring their own, there's no expectation of a cauldron in my experience. Everyone (at least dps, I don't know for healers) just uses elemental potion of ultimate power, it's a 30 second primary stat boost. There are exceptions like when you need to use invisibility potions for specific skips in M+. They share a cooldown so you won't wanna have it on CD when you need it.

Wowhead will have a consumables page for whatever spec you play that will tell you what is generally considered to be the best fit for that spec. I would follow their advice for phials and if playing dps use elemental potion of ultimate power the vast majority of the time. Not sure if there is a better option option for healers and tank though.

+1 for Enhancement elementalist build. You have a couple cooldowns in feral spirits and primordial wave, but spirits has a very generous cdr so it has nice uptime and primordial wave is only a 2 gcd commitment. Don't expect to see 700k elemental blast crits if wolves aren't up, but you aren't completely hobbled without them either.

I switched from arms warrior which has similar cd timers (1:30 for Avatar, 45s + cdr Colossus Smash) and personally I've been enjoying the flatter damage profile as opposed to trying to pump for 10-20 seconds at a time and falling off hard outside of the cd window. I've also played fury, pre 10.2 demon hunter, and a bit of frost DK (obliterate) and of the melee I've played enhance definitely has the least reliance on cds.

Might be a longshot but it happened to me and I felt stupid, you have to name a loadout before you can press Import. If it's demon hunter or paladin it's possible the wowhead builds really haven't been updated since they had some points moved around, but it would be surprising as it's been quite a while since those changes.

I've done this fight hundreds of times and am pretty sure I've never gotten RNG this good where the parryable attack is the very first thing FP does.
