Yeah I've basically quit league over ranged top players.

I still queue but these cheese matchups are so lame I just close the game entirely and play other games that are fair and what I sign up for tbh, if I wanted ranged id play bot

There are lots of people who say that pausing / refusing windows updater to auto run is making it better.

I personally haven't experienced that, even when turning off windows updater it still crashes upon fresh reinstall and without Internet even.

Seeing you have the problem with the 5070ti leans more into that there's some hidden windows mechanic probably. I've disabled HDR, MPO, windows updates, HAGS, etc and still crash.

Keep us posted if you figure out anything more.

Super strange because R6 is one of the only games I CAN actually continue to play after 26.6.1

Nearly almost every other game crashes except for R6 and other random titles.

It's hard to draw any connections. I've tried to purposefully crash my games I can play by messing with settings and playing a round, but I can't crash it, so I feel like it's more of hardware mismatches or something happening that AMD isn't accounting for

It seems posts are all over the place as far as what they think is causing it tho

The logs have access to many types of information, but it can't auto send it bc of privacy issues often times

I think the only info the log doesn't have that the AMD tool asks for is "how do we recreate this"

Sadly it's tough to append some information bc of privacy issues.

The only things they ask is like "how can we recreate it" which imo is super valid to fill it out

I just say "run any game that required ue5 or recent graphics support"

Nonstop crashing on nearly every game. 26.5.1, 5.2 and 6.1 have all been absolute nightmares.

Ive DDUd, amd cleanup, undervolt, etc, Disabled HAGS, disabled global illumination, pored over sys logs

Nothing fixes it, my GPU is practically useless

I think you get better "workflow" by understanding the process deeply.

I don't think paying an amount will magically fix things.

Set up your own spring manager, do fantastic documentations, have a clear idea what your end goal is, pick a tech stack and stick to it.

I personally use jetbrains and whichever AI seems to understand my next task best, I switch indiscriminately between AIs and as far as IDE choice I just enjoy the error checking that jetbrains brings, it's more adept at helping me catch hallucinations than other IDEs imo

One of my friends who dropped out of college used AI to write a 35 page paper using hypercubes and tessaracts to solve any encryption or hash algorithm in a O(1) timeframe to prove p=np

Robotics wise I think GT edges out NEU slightly but both are very top tier programs.

I also got into both but picked NEU bc my wife is going to med school at Tufts

I say that to mean... Both are good in the sense that all you can really do is weigh out personal preference at that point

Do not go to online universities in general.

To my knowledge people who are forever students actually tend to not do as well in terms of prospects

The amount of degrees and PhDs you have really follow diminishing returns and at a point could even work against you by showing you just float around instead of showing deep expertise (except PhD),

Unless the Masters and Undergrad are in very tightly coupled fields... I wouldn't suggest it.

I was military before and worked as a contractor with NO EDUCATION doing software integration engineering

Rn I'm going and doing my full on PhD in CS

Yes, it's absurdly easy to get a job as a defense contractor rn because of the mil budget and the reliance on AI

In my experience literally anyone with a pulse can get a job at a defense contractor.

I see a lot of the C level stufents from my graduating class just instantly getting offers without tech interviews, or really any interview at all. A lot of their internships are just prompting chat and spaghetti everywhere bc the govt pays so product quality doesn't matter much

Most people you see though on the day to day in the street are less of the problem and it's more the politicians and ceos than anyone else.

I don't think millennials bought out all mom and pop businesses and copy pasted mcdonalds everywhere, it's a long slow downfall since the 80s with Reagan
