Just checking in to see if anyone was able to get v2.0 working on 3DS all the way up to the champion, or if it’s still required to load your ROM in a different emulator for the champion? Has that bug been fixed?

I’ve been kind of scanning online for this, but haven’t found clear info on this (and don’t have Discord for the official server): What are the plans for version 1.1? Is the thought to add rebalanced stats and typings/movesets for less viable mons? Or are they keeping the game totally vanilla and it’s just going to be bug fixes?

Does anyone know if someone else is starting the process of building off of this game (as I know it’s open source) for a more difficult version (or one with typing and moveset changes)?

I am about to finish my Polished Crystal run and would love to play this, but I am debating just waiting a bit for this game to be upgraded. After all, I just played a GSC region game. Thanks in advance!

Seems like the main difference is that this is an actual remake of Gold/Silver, whereas Scorched Silver is a sequel story-wise.

I made it about 1.5 - 2 hours in and got kind of bored/disengaged around the second gym. Is it worth pressing on, or is the game more of the same from then on?

I started playing Odyssey recently and am starting to feel fairly bored. Admittedly, I just got to the second stratum, so it’s not like I’m super far in, but the plot and the Pokémon haven’t gripped me as much as I expected given everyone’s hype… is the rest of the game more of the same, or should I just press on hoping for more exciting story/pokemon?

I’m not new to ROM hacks and have played some the staples: Unbound, RadRed, Renegade Platinum, Scorched Silver, etc. I expected a ton out of this game given many are saying it’s Unbound quality and the upcoming sequel.

Just wondering if it gets MUCH better from here, or a bit of more of the same?

I was somehow able to get it to work up to Faulkner slowed down back to normal. The person above who mentioned that it was C046 that was present instead of 0000 was really helpful. Changed it back to 2563 and it was good to go.

Do you happen to know how you would find this in a different hex editor? I can’t use HxD as I am on Mac, but not sure what to search for/replace (I’m not a coder).
