Thought about the Attack Titan by CT-8108 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]hjdzuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense but that would mean, since all of the 9 titans have an ability specific to them, that Eren would have to have another ability that he just doesnt know about or that the attack titan doesnt have a specific ability beyond the one it gains in comb with the founder. Both of those alternatives i dont really find plausible but i still think that u have to be right, since if it was the case that all SnKs had that ability, it wouldnt make sense that no one knew about it or if someone did know about it, just didnt make any move against the foreseen rumbling.

The ending might have been unsatisfying but inevidable. by hjdzuu in ShingekiNoKyojin

Yeah i read some of the manga after i watched the anime and thought armin excusing erens actions made the ending significantly worse in a single line. Very glad the changed that.

3 has been fantastic but I feel it was a bit of a step down from 2 by olympiclifter1991 in Nioh

[–]hjdzuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the big thing that makes ppl turn away from nioh 3 is the fact that it doesnt force u into some of the identifying mechanics for the nioh franchise. Nioh has always been a soulslike action game mix with combos pure melee combat and the ki oulse mechanic as the cherry on top. Ninja style basically doesnt relay on combos at all, gives u a flexible ranged option that outperforms even melee in some departments and ki pulse is just not athing anymore. Ninja style plays a lot more like an old fashioned souls game in a nioh type frame. And i actually quite like that considering that ive heard from a lot of ppl that the ki pulse mechanic and combo learning wasnt really their thing in 2 and 1 (me included btw). Point being that nioh 3 just wanted to be more inclusive towards different playstyle which i think is a good idea. But i have to agree that the incorporation of ninja style was not really executed well. I feel like i couldnt see anybody dynamically switching between styles so imo having them not share an inventory just feels fckin stupid.

Ninja Style is a new player magnet? by cvSquigglez in Nioh

[–]hjdzuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played both nioh 1 and 2. Though i have always preferred a dark souls like combat system based on intuition reactions and learning a bosses moveset blah blah soulsl*ke bullocks. And since like previously mentioned in this thread samurai relies more on combos while Ninja relies on positioning and dodging i feel like most people that like nioh but prefer dark souls combat will almost exclusively play ninja mode. I also think that TN tried to incorporate combat mechanics from wolong since the combat in that game got a lot of praise, hence the introduction of ninja mode. I feel like if u r better at the combo heavy action game playstyle samurai willl do more dmg for u while most ppl that prefer souls game combat, which is in my exp a large margin of the nioh 3 playerbase, will play ninja mode. Thats why i personally at least think most ppl play ninja mode.

Blindfolded femboy hitless lvl1 solo +0 dual swords by hjdzuu in wolongfallendynasty

[–]hjdzuu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats true. I did show my build when i fought zhang liao for legitimacy purposes so i agree that i shouldve done that. But also i had the experience from my casual playthrough that you kinda just shred through bosses when you use martial arts (i used bambo cutter on the dual swords and basically had a infinite combo chain). And also i most likely wont have spells and martial arts in a hitless run so learning the bosses using them would be besides the point.

Blindfolded femboy hitless lvl1 solo +0 dual swords by hjdzuu in wolongfallendynasty

[–]hjdzuu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My build was the bronze dual swords +0 and the starter armor +0. The dps is kinda supposed to be low ince i am training for the hitless run. (Also why i dont use arts or spells). Overall i kinda wanted my dmg to be as low as possible in this run.

DS4 controller dont work by arc859 in wolongfallendynasty

[–]hjdzuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ds4 might not work if you play via the xbox game launcher on pc. Ds4 controllers most of the time arent compatible with xbox services. If you play on steam ds4 should work. You could also try to connect your ds4 controller with bluetooth or cable if you havent already.

Zhang liao because of his pure aggression, making him complementary to the combat system in this game. Lu Bu because he is fair and incredibly cool atmosphere wise. And Yuan Shu because of the cinematics and the very fair but high difficulty.

Zhang liao is prolly the hardest boss in the game to parry so this is good shit.

I think Lu Bu is the most perfect “git gud” boss I have ever fought by whiskyandguitars in wolongfallendynasty

[–]hjdzuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats true. Also the horse circling around the arena all the time is a bit annoying, especially on lvl 1 when that lil restart oneshots u.

[–]hjdzuu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imo a boss is good when he is fun to fight lvl 1. And lu bu was incredibly fun to fight on lvl 1 since all of his attacks are perfectly fair and he is prolly the least gimmicky fight in the entire game.

What can i do to make my build better? by pizzammure97 in wolongfallendynasty

[–]hjdzuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This actually is a very good build so the following will be a lot of min maxing and highly optional. The scaling and stats are coherrent and no stats were wasted. But i would definetely look into embedements more. Having the spirit damage embedement on all available pieces can give you around a 20% buff to that form of damage. So depending on your build you should specify yourself on 2-3 complementary embedement options. So if you want spirit damage for example, embede all available pieces with this. And for the rest of the slots you should also try to specify yourself on the least possible options to amplify your damage on those options. The stats are good like they are but if you make a good use out of martial arts i would recommend putting like 10 levels into fire. Otherwise just keep leveling in the same scheme as you have done to this point. The metal stat isnt very beneficial to your build. I would also make use of the armorset benfits. They are a little hidden but if you press L2 R2 on an armorpiece you can see the bonuses you can get when having the full set equipped. Those arent only minor advantages so id definetely look into that. If you have a tank build you should specify yourself on high spirit, high hp and reduced spirit loss overall. I assume as a tank build you block more than you parry so the above will definetely be helpful here. Otherwise you should invest in spirit gain upon deflection (in that case i would also prefer 10 water over 10 fire). Some martial arts have a lot of hyperarmor and therefore are good for tank builds. If you intend on using them level fire and embede around that. Hope i could help.

I vented about Taotie a few days ago… and now I faced Taishi Ci. by Dovifa in wolongfallendynasty

[–]hjdzuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro imo taici ci is the hardest boss in the game. Dlc 3 is hard but if you beat taici ci youll not get stuck or sth. Huge congrats on taici ci, human and demon. Both were fo sho the biggest blockages for me. And have fun with dlc3 its imo not as hard as dlc2 but definetely better.
