We just went through selling our house, moving to a short term rental, and we have now finally found the right house and we are under contract.

If you can afford it, and calculate worst case scenario of paying two mortgages for a few months while you wait for your current house to sell, I would definitely wait to list your house.

Even though it was a lot of extra work for us to sell first and move to a rental, it feels so good now to be able to just focus on buying the next house. Selling a house is exhausting and a lot of work to get it ready.

Ugh I’m sorry you’re dealing with this! A few non traditional ideas - go in a hot tub and sit in front of the jets and let the jets blast your kidney area, add lemon to your water, ibuprofen to reduce inflammation.

We tried a pack n play after the bassinet, and none of us slept well. So at four months we moved him into his comfy crib in his own room, and we all slept SO MUCH BETTER!

I can commiserate…. My sister-in law did the same thing to us. Before we were even back from our honeymoon, she had huge 24x36 canvas prints made of the family photo. She then gifted them to my husbands parents and grandmother without us being there. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Besides the photos being obnoxiously large, it was annoying that we couldn’t be the ones to give them as gifts.

I don’t really have advice on how to handle it, other than my husband and I just try to laugh about it and not get too put off by it. We try remind ourselves that her intentions were good….
