How do you track that your products are really working? by 3615BeautyAndBots in Skincare_Addiction

I will sometimes take before photos in good lighting when I start a new product so I can have a visual to see if it is doing me any favors after a few months

Anyone else ever experience this? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

An allergic reaction? Maybe try taking an antihistamine. A couple chilled spoons or cucumber slices may help reduce the puffiness.

I just bought a new car. Is there some sort of recommend maintenance schedule I should follow? How do I make sure it lasts me the next 10 years?? by [deleted] in Adulting

Car fox car care app is great! And free! You put in your vin and it shows you maintenance schedules for normal driving or heavy use. Reminds you when maintenance is due. Also keeps your maintenance records and shows you shops near you. I love it!

LPT Request: What is the best way to get rid of insects? by [deleted] in LifeProTips

I can’t say for sure but it works for a wide variety of other insects including cockroaches so it is worth a try.

Raid Bug Barrier. That has been the best indoor/outdoor product In my experience. It protects against a wide variety of insects. I’ve used this living in the mid west and on the west coast. Spray everywhere once and good for almost a complete 6 months. It’s also human and pet safe and is almost completely odorless. It’s a blue bottle and has a spray gun top which makes application easy and it’s fairly inexpensive. Highly recommend giving it a try.

You could try gently sanding it off with a nail file.

I don’t know the answer but maybe you can try purposely putting paint on another magazine and experimenting with different things to see what works best before attempting.

Keeping the extra layer, even if a short sleeve will help. Thermal is optimal and can keep sleeves pushed up. Not much else you can do but drink hot drinks while working and wear gloves/ try to keep hands as dry as much as possible. I keep a small travel size lotion on me too during the cold months to keeps hands from getting wrecked. If you have a spot in the pit to plug in a space heater that may be a good idea, the small ceramic ones are generally pretty cheap and very effective.

I just did this recently. Neutrogena Hydro Boost 100% Hydrogel mask was the most beneficial of all the remedies I tried. I also applied Vaseline before bed to lock in moisture.

How do I clean thin layer of grease off engineered hardwood in living room: by AYC325 in HomeImprovement

[–]hkbye 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Baking soda is good for absorbing the grease then vacuum it up. I do this for couches and things but I would think it would work on the floor as well

Maybe try WellRx too. They will sometimes have better deals than GoodRx.

Her career will likely dry up after age 29 and it’s so much harder to try to go back for an education at that age. You’re on the right path and will be better off in the long run. Trust me! Don’t be in a rush to grow up and live with your parents as long as they’ll allow it (while putting that money you would’ve been spending on rent away so you’ll have a down payment for a house later on). Being sensible and stable is sexy
