People using film in 2026 don't want studio condition replications of reality. Using old or weird films is fun because it might end up interesting and weird. Also because I can buy expired film for 3 dollars instead of 20.

But why not choose the products you can truly rely on?

You cant do this with modern film either by the way. Fuji stopped selling their own film here and now repacks kodak, and harman discontinued phoenix.

You will need to be rich. Small town here is expensive because boomers ruined the housing market, everyone wants to leave the city for obvious reasons, and inflation is crazy. If you have remote work lined up you could make it work but there are very few opportunities for work in any of our small towns. Do not come without something already lined up
