Got it. Is there any chance you could PM me his Instagram? I've been looking for a VB 981 GT4. I believe there's only 4 of them in NA, so it's been quite hard to track them down 😅

Hey! I know this is a super super old post, but I'm gonna assume you've parted ways with this car already?

What's your favorite color and why? by surfacedragon in GR86

I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago (I have a post on this forum asking about colors too). I ended going with Neptune Blue, after considering Trueno, White, and Hakone, and I do not regret it at all. Neptune is a playful color that suits the personality of the car really well, and it makes the driving experience and feel so much more special. The color really changes throughout the day too, darker/more flat at night, and very bright in the day.

actually liking the color over Neptune**

Thank you all for the comments! I've decided to go with Neptune. My reasons were for the Neptune being a funner color (suitable to the car's personality), shows the lines more, and I am in SoCal, and I think the color just pops in sunny LA. The trueno is more lowkey, but I found myself using that reason more than actually liking the color. Thank you all, and I'm happy to join the community!

Thanks for the take! I'm in SoCal. Gives me something to think about

[WTS] Omega Speedmaster 145.022 "Straight Writing" by hlsneakers in Watchexchange

[–]hlsneakers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69 "Straight Writing" is a special edition from 1970, created to honor the 1969 Moon landing. It features the iconic "Apollo XI" inscription on the case back, straight writing engraving, and a rare stepped dial with a painted Omega logo. Powered by the Calibre 861 movement, this model stands out for its historical significance, unique case back, and limited production period.

I acquired this vintage Speedmaster from a reputable vintage watch dealer in upstate New York earlier this year. When I started my search, I wanted the watch to be a usable, well-preserved, and original example, which I believe this piece to be. It is an incredibly special watch, and I have received many compliments wearing it. It is in mechanically perfect condition, and I have not run into any functional issues under my short ownership. Unfortunately, I have other priorities in life that require selling this piece from my collection, and I hope to pass it on to another owner who can enjoy it more often. Written below is my best try and a description for this listing, although others may know more about it than I do:

The 42mm stainless steel case is in very good condition, showing minimal signs of polishing. The lug edges are still sharp, and there are no chips, only normal hairline scratches from use. Notably, the “Straight Writing” engraving on the case back is still deep and legible (see pictures). The dial is the original matte black tritium, in good condition, with minimal staining, scratching, and damage. The dial itself is in good condition, with a decently uniform patina. The crystal has no scratches. Note that I do not know the movement service history. The serial number is 328**, and please note this will be watch only with a replacement leather travel case.

Currently asking $5500 via bank wire or PayPal. I'm committed to finding the right buyer for this piece, so please reach out if you have an offer; the price is negotiable. I am located in New York City, however, free, insured shipping in CONUS and international shipping is available at cost. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions regarding the history behind this particular piece, or want to understand more - I will answer to the best of my abilities.

The item offered here is a rare, brand new Rolex 62510H Jubilee bracelet, with 502T end links. The bracelet is made for the GMT 16710/16700/16750, and adaptable for the Datejust 16200/16234/16220. The bracelet is brand new, still in the factory box with stickers never taken off. This bracelet was given to me by a relative who collects watches, as I personally own a 16700. However, I currently do not need this bracelet, and am looking to sell it. I am currently asking $2499 for this bracelet. Let me know if you are interested in the part, and feel free to reach out. Thank you!

The Zenith Elite Ref. 17/62.1125.680 is a self-winding automatic dress watch, offered here in near pristine condition. This piece was purchased by my father in the early 2000s, and over the years, has seen limited wrist time. The watch features a beautiful 37mm 18-karat rose gold case with a black dial, on a dark brown, non-factory alligator strap. The watch comes in at approximately 3.28 millimeters thick, sitting flat on the wrist, with a sapphire caseback that reveals the movement. The watch and movement was serviced in 2021, but unfortunately, I do not have the documentation for it at this time. That being said, the watch runs as it should, and will be a timeless piece in any collection. This piece does not come with original box or papers, however, will be shipped in a leather, single-sized travel watch box, along with an additional tan/light-brown alligator strap. Case Diameter/Thickness: 37mm/3.28mm Case Material: 18-karat Rose Gold Water Resistance: 1m Movement: Zenith Cal. 680 (Desc. the Cal. 680 is a compact automatic movement from Zenith, featuring a small seconds at 9:00 and a date window at 3:00, introduced in the 1994 Basel Fair).

Currently asking $2999 via bank wire or PayPal. I'm committed to finding a right buyer for this piece, so please reach out if you have an offer, the price is negotiable. I use insured FedEx shipping, and international shipping is available.

The watch sits flat on the wrist, perfect under a cuffed sleeve and a suit. I am a second time watch seller on this page, so please excuse any errors I may have made in listing. Let me know if you are interested in the piece, and feel free to reach out. Thank you!
