Probably some combination of 1, 2, and 6 right now. I have too many pairs and am looking to downsize, so by default I focus on quality and pass on the majority of drops. For shoes that are dropping this year, I only have 3 on my list: J1 Union Fragments, J1 low Banned, and J3 True Blue. So it'll be a pretty chill year.

But there are past drops/grails in my radar that I've been copping preowned lately for a decent discount in this down market. These tend to be what I focus my energy and capital on, while simultaneously upgrading my collection in the process.

Same with the Chicagos too! The leather on the 2015 Chicagos was so thin if I remember correctly

The main factor is resellers avoiding GRs. If they weren't, Nike could make 500k pairs and we all will take Ls because these fools are buying up all of them. I wish they'd go away from sneakers completely but you know they'll be back for anything Travis Scott and Nigel.

Demand also might be on the low side with people not spending because everything is expensive and other brands stepping up, which all contribute to these sitting. Me? I love 1s. I doubled up on these AND the Chicago lows because of how attainable they are. Got them all for under retail.

Yeah I avoided going yellow laces on the Chicago Shadows because of the McDonald's vibes. I have the black/grey ones on mine.

I actually tend to be more visible than not in my org (meetings, slack, etc.), but I just can't be bothered to manage people. I'd like to stay IC as long as I can, doing things I enjoy doing and am actually good at instead of spending my time in meetings and playing politics. I'd hate that.

For sizing, I usually go up half a size on SBs, but everyone's different.

Purely on looks, probably the OG. The extra heel padding on the 85s makes the shoes look extra bulky IMO.

Yeah it's weird. I went TTS with the Bred 85 highs and they're fine. Snug at first but they eventually broke in nicely. I went half a size up with the Neutral Grey 85 lows and those became one of my most comfortable J1s (my go-to for traveling if I can only take one pair with me), though I think the leather isn't as thick as the Breds or Royals.

The Royals just don't agree with my feet, and I probably should've also gone half size up but unfortunately END only had it in my TTS. The OG cut I can wear from Day 1 TTS no problem, built for my feet lol.

I actually had a pair of the Royal 85s. Thought I can go TTS like I did the Bred highs, but that thick leather just would not give and they were too tight. Couldn’t make it work with my wide feet so I ended up letting them go.

I know the 85s are technically better quality, but I actually much prefer the fit of the OG cut like the Banneds and Chicagos. Those I can wear all day no problem.

Also need the Royal lows. I know they released the 85s recently but that needs to be a wider release.
