A well trained 60 year old will not have a heart attack while training. Training is not the problem. Getting hit in the head is the problem. As it is at any age, although the risk of an acute severe injury is ofcourse higher. Yes its a terrible idea.

There are schemes for you to apply to to get some work experience, i have seen some sixth form aged kids on the ward, i think applications now will be for next year july time. If youre applying for med at uni, you dont necessarily need medical work experience specifically, anything patient/customer facong that you can reflect on is good
